In person I think the taupe tan is just a little bit lighter than it appears in the photo from the listing, but still very close and looks really nice in my shoes. Happy customer, what a difference a fresh pair of laces makes!

My grey New Balance shoes came with dumb looking white laces. These laces are a perfect replacement, ideal grey color with OEM quality and perfect length. Highly recommended.

Not only are the 56" laces the exact same length of the original, the color looks much better on my CAT brand boots. They aren't quite as dense as the original laces, but the diamter is nearly idential. Very pleased with the value of these laces. Boots are about 1 year old. I polish them weekly, and once a month I remove the laces for a full polish. The original aglets are getting tattered. I purchased new laces to facilitate easier re-lacing. The color is almsot a perfect match to the CAT yellow. You can still appreciate the little things. Even in 2025.

I bought these for my 12 year old daughter’s softball cleats. The medium was too short and I returned, but the large works. Still is not very long but does the job. So far they’ve held up for the last couple months.

Oval shoelaces: This is the first time I’ve purchased this brand. I liked them so much that I just ordered another set in a different color. They look great and stay tied better than any others I’ve owned. I have trouble keeping shoelaces tied (I have a very high instep and have to tie the shoe loosely to avoid discomfort). So that’s important. I didn’t check to confirm the length but they work fine for my shoes. If you have running shoes with elaborate lacing, consider purchasing the next longer size.

I bought these a couple of years ago in light blue, for my running shoes. I loved the fact that I could make an ordinary bow, without double-knotting, that didn't come untied on its own, and that quickly released when I was finished running. I loved that despite this feature, the laces didn't offer a lot of friction that made them difficult to slide through the eyelets. The laces have held up well through many days of use and lots of sun and water, no fraying and no noticeable fading. I needed light blue, and the laces were light blue, so all good there. On the basis of this experience I decided to order again from this company.However, I just bought Orchid Purple and Lavender to match new shoes. The colors are not even close to the ad depictions or names, and it's not because of my computer screen. "Orchid" and "vibrant" both imply that the color will be rich, saturated, and cool, but the actual laces are washed-out and definitely warm rather than cool. "Orchid Purple" is closer to Brick in color. Have you ever seen a brick-colored orchid? The Lavender ones are indeed lavender in shade, but I got them to replace other lavender laces that had faded in the sun. These new ones look like they have already been in the sun for a few years.Because the laces save me a lot of time when starting and ending my run, they deserve stars, but because the ad about the colors is so misleading, I took off two stars. I noticed that the ad now says "frequently returned" and that many complain about the colors. Now I know why. I'm tempted to return mine just to make the point.I think the company should simply accept that they are selling MUTED, PALE, WARM COLORS, and rename the colors to be less misleading. Or, if you want to distinguish your company as selling pretty laces, then ADD MORE DYE to the vats lolIt would also be less misleading to post PHOTOS of the actual laces, rather than these pieces of artwork or retouched photos.
