Seems pretty sharp but haven't tested it out yet. Nicely packaged in a small plastic case. Planning to use this for dados and grooves.

Excellent router bit for my woodcutting cnc machine. I got this in both the upcut and the downcut.Use an upcut router bit when you need to quickly remove large amounts of material and prioritize chip evacuation, like in deep cuts or roughing passes, while a downcut bit is preferred when you need a clean top surface finish, especially on thin materials like veneers or laminates, where minimizing tearout is crucial; essentially, an upcut pulls material towards the router while a downcut pushes it away.So having one of each makes for a good starting point with my new CNC machine.

Excellent quality 1/8 inch up-cut bit. The cutting length is 1 inch, which is much better than most of my 1/8 inch bits. The edges are sharp and cut very cleanly. Since this is an up-cut bit, I use it when I need smooth bottoms for a pocket cut. I then use a down-cut bit for cleaning up the edges. This should work well with cast acrylic but the product notes don't mention it.

I've owned a cabinet shop since 2011 so consider myself an expert when it comes to tools like these.I use bits like this end mill in my CNC machines. I usually cut stuff out with a 1/4" bit, but something a 1/8" one works better.This bit cut nicely. Even feels good in the hand. It reminded me of an Amana Tools bit actually. I'm very pleased.

I am using this bit in my router. So far it makes clean and crisp cuts and isn't burning the wood. The price point is considerably cheaper than other popular brands, so I hope the bits holds up well. It remains to be seen how long the cutting edge lasts, and I'm not sure what to make of the coating on the bit. I've never used a coated bit before until this, and I can't honestly tell a difference. Hopefully this bit lasts me many years

I tested this in my cnc router - worked great on aluminium.I expect it to basically last forever in aluminium, like most carbide.The packaging is great; maybe a little overboard, but probably a good choice.The cutter is sharp, and I saw no defects under 100x magnification.
