BLUF: Great ink, good price, usable across a huge variety of fountain pens. What's not to like?I use this ink in a variety of fountain pens. I have over twenty fountain pens from all over the world, and everyone of my fountain pens can write with this ink. None of my pens have any ink flow problems when I use it.The ink is a very dark ink...so dark, in fact, that shading (where ink gets darker when it pools, like where lines cross, or where you lift your pen off the paper) is virtually non-existent with normal ink flow. It compares favorably with other inks, being even darker than Noodler's Black! When this ink gets thinned out (because you're running out of ink, maybe?), it has a slight purple hue, but for normal use, it's BLACK.This is NOT a permanent ink. The downside is that spilling water on what you wrote will probably erase a lot of it, but maybe leave enough ink in the paper to let you read what you wrote. YMMV. The upside is that this ink is very easy to clean out of your pen. A simple flush with luke-warm water, propelled by a bulb syringe, will get rid of all residue from inside of your pen. No idea how easy it comes out of that cream colored shirt you were wearing, though!One more positive thing about this size ink bottle: for the 70 ml bottles, TWSBI includes an ink miser plastic insert, which enables you to get more ink out of that bottle when the ink level is too low for some fountain pens to suck up the ink. Instructions for use of that ink miser are included with the bottle, or you can watch a demonstration on YouTube.

Please don't stop making this ink! I am picky with my black ink. I like it super dark and this one fits the bill for me. I've no issues with it in any of my ten fountain pens that it's loaded in. Unless it was for some special need, I don't plan on buying any other black ink in the future due to this performance and price.

My only complaint with the ink is it is slow to dry. Normally not an issue until you forget and smudge it.
