Re-wrapped two cat scratchers with this. No smell and good quality. I always use hot glue. Not sure why some people would think this is self stick. I would highly recommend.

My tabby cat destroyed the fur on one of the posts of the cat tower. I couldn't find the right size replacement post. So I bought this rope to re-cover the affected post. You can see in the picture that it's much thicker than the rope that came with the cat tree. I wouldn't recommend using any thicker rope than this, but it worked well and seems pretty sturdy. My cat likes it, especially since she likes to play rough on that post on particular. I feel like this will help the cat tower last for a long, long time.

Will be using this roll to re-wrap several cat scratching posts, (the boys are really hard on their posts). I've been buying 100ft rolls locally but they just don't complete an entire post so this 600 foot roll will allow me to do a complete post without having to splice/staple in extra rope. I do wish it had come on a spool as shown instead of rolled in a box. A spool would have been easier to work from but that is a minor issue.

It is the perfect thickness for what I needed it for. It will be very durable for the cats scratching post. Replacing the rope was well worth the money instead of getting a new one. It looks great and will function perfectly since. I am weird and loved the fresh smell as I was working on it

I bought this rope to wrap around some ugly pipes in my NYC apartment. The rope is rough and scratchy so use gloves when handling. It also left a lot of residue after installing but it was nothing a vacuum could not handle. The pipes get hot in the winter and they have held up well.

Oh my 2 year old MONSTER BOY - a ginger (need I say more? LOLOL) loves to tear into things. I love to save the environment and if I benefit pocketbook wise, it's a double win!! I had watched a few youtube videos. This is relaxing and fun to do. Oh Mr. Oscar (ginger boy) went CRAZY "Helping" me. LOL
