Bought this to replace the starter cord on my Troy-Bilt with B&S motor and have some leftover for other equipment. Installed without a hitch and works fine. Seems like it will last, well made with braided outer wrap.

This line is strong, and after the amount of time it takes to replace a pull cord on any small engine it worth paying a couple dollars more for a good product.

The product lacked a 5 star rating because the plastic spool was broken in 2 places. Lacking a dowel, stick or other means to replace the spool, after unwinding 100’ of rope, I tried supergluing the plastic spool. That did not hold it because the break points were uneven. Using Gorilla tape I was able to mend the spool well enough to then untangle the long rope I had removed and rewind it. It seems the quality control efforts at the factory need attention. You are buying shoddy spools or are otherwise damaging them in your process. Please fix so other customers don’t face this great inconvenience.

Pull cord starter rope used for my lawnmower. Works great. Burned the ends to prevent any fraying. Strong and flexible. I,m sure I,ll be using more in future as neighbours seem to come to me to assist them with small engine problems. Relatively inexpensive compared to going to local hardware store to buy new cord. Thanks.

Seems like good quality replacement line for my Honda HRR216 mower and most of my smaller power equipment. I would go one size larger for the mower, after comparing it side by side with the Honda original stuff. I got #4, but #4.5 is probably the exact match. But it is a good compromise for not requiring 3 different sizes for all my small motors. The strength seems adequate so far and 100 Ft. should last me for years. The photos make the roll look huge, but it ships in a standard bubble mailer envelope, so it got here quick.
