Thought it might be thicker but it works well. I have it paired with an arm mounted static brush that tracks with the record.

Does reduce static on records and provides a clean surface for the record.A tad thin but seems to be of decent quality.Slight issue it was folded during delivery so it took a day before the crease was gone.

While this is a perfectly fine slipmat, it's not any better than the stock slipmat that came with my Insignia turntable. It's still felt. It still leaves little bits of lint all over my records when I flip it over. It still generates a bunch of static. One time it even lifted off the platter with my record because the static was so strong. That was fun.For anyone who needs a replacement slipmat, or if a white slipmat would work better with your turntable's aesthetic, then this is a completely fine slipmat. But if you're looking for an upgrade, then you'll want to look elsewhere.

I don't know if I hear a difference in my albums but I can definitely say that I get less static, dust, and grabbing when removing records over the cork I was using. Also, it looks great. I love the professional look vs the cork.

Nice and cheap option for a new record mat. Makes colored vinyls look much better than having a black slipmat.

A white slipmat is perfect for translucent colored vinyl. It really makes the records pop (visually).I was using an acrylic slipmat before, but I would prefer this softer surface to put my records on.I don't think it matters which side is facing up, but I noticed that one side looks nicer than the other. The attached pictures are what I would call the bottom. It has lines that I really only noticed when I looked at the picture. I've since flipped it over, and it does look a tiny bit better.
