These are very sharp and have an actual 1/4" shank. Several that I have bought off of Amazon.com before had 6mm shanks so they would vibrate out of the collet.

I do alot of door and door knob installations and these were perfect for grinding out a little wood or sheet metal to make a perfect fit for latches hinges and more. They easily fit in a standard drill. The only thing for me is that it doesn't have a case that closes. My work requires mobility. I just purchased a small container for them. There than that, they sèm strong, sharp and will likely last a long time.

These bits came with a nice wooden holder and they are great. They easily grind through material. I am very pleased with the quality of the bits.

A good assortment of burrs with many different shapes to reach the right spot. The storage block is also a nice touch.

I bought the 1/4" version of these burr grinding bits, having read some of the reviews on here about the 1/8" ones not being strong enough. I needed to grind down a couple of old welds on steel in an awkward corner (so an angle grinder wouldn't be able to get in). Although the welds put up a fight, using a selection of these bits on the former joint enabled me to "etch away" the old welding deposits to give clean right-angle joints that could then be repaired.I like the quality and hardness of the bits, as well as the different shapes and sizes in this set. The wooden storage block gives it a touch of class in the workshop. I would have maybe liked a lid to protect the bits (and anything coming into contact with them) when not in use, but you can't have everything. These are not cheap, but the price was comparable with similar products on the internet when I ordered the set.

When I saw Tungsten Carbide, I was thinking metal work, but these are designed for woodworking. I will find a use for them, but I was actually looking for a set to use in metal fabrication. They came in a box for convenient storage, which is nice since that is where they will spend most their time. Still nice to have in the shop.

Definitely not the highest quality bits you can buy they do wear out quicker than some of the better brands. Perfect for hobby use. For daily use decent, since ten packs of these are less expensive than one off the snap-on truck but you may go through a couple bits on one job
