This until clamped easily in my woodworking vise. I needed to straighten some copper tubing for a project. It straightened the pipe just fine, but it took some finagling to get the setting right. The one major downside is that it left flat spots on the copper tubing (from the v-grooves on the pulleys). It wasn't so much that a compression fitting couldn't seal on the tubing, but still...I'm hoping to have better luck with the stainless tubing I have in the mail.

This product seems well made, reasonably heavy, the rollers are smooth and well finished, bearings free, nice vise mount base for setting up temporarily and solid feeling screw handle. It made very quick and easy work of straightening a coil of stainless steel brake tubing in my shop. Just thread it in, adjust the rollers, and pull as much through as you want straightened. I'm sure it will work on copper as well up to the manufacturer's recommended size limit. This is a very handy tool to have if you use a lot of tubing, and want a neat job.Recommended!

Used in my bench vise for rolled copper line. Works great, simple to use, good results, and less waste. Like any metal jobs, warmer metals are easier to work with. Would probably work well on thin stainless. If needing for harder metals, consider a stronger double sided model.

This tubing straightener works as it should. It is simple to use. It feel fairly strong and will work with all types of lines. It cost a little bit more than some of the other, but it solidly mounts in a vice which makes the job much easier. It's a very good buy.

I picked up this tubing straightener to clean up some messy coils of brake and fuel lines, and I have to say, it does the job pretty well.Right out of the box, it feels solid, it has a nice weight, smooth rollers, and an overall sturdy build.Using it takes a little practice, especially if you’re working with tighter coils, but once you get the hang of feeding the tubing through, it straightens things out nicely. It doesn’t make the tubing perfectly straight with just one pass, but running it through a couple of times gets it really close. The adjustable rollers are a nice touch, allowing you to work with different tubing sizes without much hassle. If I had to nitpick, I’d say it takes a bit of force for thicker tubing, and it would be nice if it had some kind of clamp or mount to hold it steady while working. But overall, it’s a solid tool that saves a ton of time compared to trying to straighten tubing by hand.Definitely worth it if you do a lot of work with coiled lines.

I haven’t had a chance to use and it looks like it’s for larger tubing I’m working with, but looks like it will work well.

Works really good. I just finished replacing all the hard lines on a vintage truck. This tool made straightening out all those coils of aluminum and steel tubing pretty easy. It did seem to smoosh flat spots on the larger 3/8" aluminum tubing. Worked perfectly with 1/4" steel brake line.
