Love the autofocus on it, and love how relatively short the lense is. A great addition for my Fuji that gives me the 40mm look on a budget. Great for traveling with!

The image quality came out better than I expected, it’s not bad at all considering at this price range!

A steal of a deal for a sharp, quick, well built, Fuji mount AF lens. Any minor complaint I have is made null by the price. Pick one up, you won’t regret it.

A lot of good reviews found on this len. After using a few months, I agree the small size and matal construction are good. However, in darker environment, if you use auto aperature, the autofocus always out focus. You need choose manual especially use the 2.8A which very good. The Fuji xc15-55 len performance better and I always have zoom. I keep this len mostly due to its compact size with autofocus and good value.

El lente es excelente por su precio, quizá el enfoque pueda mejorar, pero al ser tan económico pasa a segundo término.En general es una excelente compra.

Bought this as a first lens for my xt5 and I am blown away by how well this little guy performs! It has pretty good bokeh at 2.8 (I do like the angled look of it) and is also quite while autofocusing unlike what I have heard of the official 27mm Fuji lens. This means it’s a good lens for video as the mic won’t pick up on the noise.Being 27mm it’s perfect for everyday shooting, be it street photography, nature or portraits (see my examples!)It’s a tiny bit hazy at f2.8, sharpening at 4 and above but I don’t mind it as I do shoot lo-fi vintage like pictures anyway but if it’s something that bothers you then you might wanna go for something else.Overall, I would highly recommend this over the official 27mm if you’re on a budget and are fine with not having weather sealing.PS: The film simulation in my pictures is the Portra 400

Lens appears to be well-built, but I never did get to taking photos with it.Wanted to update the firmware first to deal with the issues.Followed their process (for which their Support team sent me a homebrew method). But I was never really certain the firmware got updated and there is no objective way to verify.I am not saying it didn't happen, just that there is no way to verify. There is supposed to be a text file that reflects the update, but it was not visible on the lens I was working with. Will be returning, albeit reluctantly.

I was immediately struck by the sharpness and quality of images coming out of this lens. It's just as sharp (that is to say, razor sharp) at f/2.8 as it is at f/8. Almost out-resolving the X-Trans 4 sensor in my X-T3, even. Color rendition is pleasing as well with no overt or noticeable color shifts. It doesn't have the greatest minimum focus distance at 35cm, but thats only 1cm longer than its closest competition, the Fujifilm 27mm f/2.8. This TTArtisan 27mm certainly isn't a bokeh beast considering its somewhat slow maximum aperture and far minimum focus distance, but if you shoot at MFD and wide-open you can get somewhat out of focus backgrounds with swirly, characteristic bokeh. Vignetting is also heavy, especially wide open. It becomes more subtle as you stop down but never fully disappears. The lens is super small and light, and has a pretty decent feel in the hand. The aperture ring clicks nicely enough at every 1/3 stop and the focus ring offers an acceptable amount of resistance. Considering everything I mentioned, plus this lens's metal build, you simply cannot go wrong picking one up for $160!

Walked a local park late afternoon sun, pictures RAW + Fine (ACROS JPG) the black and whites looked like taken with a film camera, mostly shot wide open and it was soft, but acceptable. RAW files were easy to develop, LRC knew the lens and fixed most issues. The biggest issues was vignetting but only on the top corners (ODD). Stepped down to F8 or F11 and my copy of lens was sharp edge to edge. Then lens turned my XT-4 into almost a pocket camera, I really enjoy this lens at it's limitations and price. Thanks TTartisan for making this lens auto focus. I also updated the firmware to the latest and it was easy to do.
