It was delivered today, the quality looks good, but I thought the head was a little light weight. Now that I've used it, it's perfect, not light weight at all

This is a heavy duty shovel. It has some weight to it so it'll be a bit much for light duty yard work. Excellent and sturdy.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I bought this shovel to deal with a very long snowy, icy driveway. It only gets part sun and it has been an accident waiting to happen this year in Colorado. Although heavy, this shovel performed in an excellent manner because it was able to get under melting ice, chop snowy-icy drifts and generally been of great help this winter. I do have a heavy ice chopper, but then the ice needs to be shoveled. The wide snow shovels were of no use because they are too heavy then and awkward to use. A fine product which will be useful in the garden season as well. By the way, I am a 77 year old woman doing this work.

The wood handle in my shovel broke after years of service, and I thought this fiberglass handle shovel would be a great replacement. It is, but it is quite heavy and clearly intended for professional construction work. If you are digging or cleaning out trenches, it's great. If the homeowner is moving a load of topsoil or mulch, it is very fatiguing. I may replace the wood handle in my old shovel after all for light work.

I took a chance and bought this shovel when it was on sale for about $20. I was pleasantly surprised with the actual shovel. It seems well-made and the handle is solidly attached to the shovel part. I've accidentally left it outside in the New Orleans rain, but it doesn't seem to have affected the wood or the metal. I like that it's curved with that little bit of turned-up metal because it makes it easy to really put pressure on it and dig deep.I use this to fix the holes my dog digs (mainly the really big holes). I also use it to level the dirt if the mud dries unevenly. The shovel is excellent for both skimming a thin layer of dirt from a raised bit and digging deep into the ground. When I first got it, I was surprised to see that the metal was not uniform and had little nicks in it. I played around with it to see if I could intentionally nick it, but I couldn't dent it. So just know in advance that it might not look perfect, but it certainly works. Also, the description says it has a cushion grip, but my handle was just wood without any cushioned part.
