Digging under the house in a very small space. These are very real and sturdy shovels. Yes kids might use them for fun, but really for work on job sight.

I used this shovel when i was digging for crystals and it was awesome! This shovel is the perfect size and is very heavy duty! I will definitely recommend this shovel to my fellow rockhounders!

I am a senior who broke both feet last year. Ground. Very hard here, doubt I could push larger shovel in ground. Good size for my gardening. Unsure of quality yet.

I like the compactness of this small shovel. I walk long distances and it is easy to carry. I dug about a dozen holes and some of them contained bush roots. I was able to make it work each time. In my opinion, another six inches longer handle would make it more efficient when digging. But then the compactness would take a hit. Overall it is well worth the price and is great when covering long distances

This little shovel slice through anything. Easy to hold onto easy to use and a great value. This heavy duty, but lightweight shovel will make any gardening easier.

Tried several folding shovels but none really did the trick or held up. For those that say these shovels are too short, please read the specs. I use these shovels primarily for auto rescue in the winter. For clearing snow and ice chunks from wheel areas - these are fabulous. With most cars out there having low ground clearance and exposed underneath plumbing, it’s imperative to clear out impacted snow and ice chunks from underneath the engine areas also. These shovels are awesome- can’t imagine using them while standing up. For those that say these are for kids, I would say yes if you want to introduce them to a true tool and let them get familiar with actually getting work accomplished - these are substantial and not a toy. Thumbs up

We go to the beach in NC most spring breaks with grandsons (and their parents). We have gone through any number of shovels and toys, and even with what we’re supposed to be “premium” shovels last year from a beach store, one of them bent with normal use. These shovels were a hit, certainly held up well, and both boys enjoyed using them.The bonus for us is that both boys are scouts and these shovels will work well for overnight camping use. Small enough to carry, rugged enough to hold up, sturdier than collapsible camp shovels.Highly recommend!

Certainly a mini shovel. A good fit for the truck or even car at this size. Solid, with the same construction as more expensive larger tools of the kind. Because of the size ergonomics are a wash, it is after all a mini shovel. It seems sturdy enough with possibly the same issues as larger shovel of this style like the d handle always being a weak spot. It is a plastic handle end rather than the sturdier metal with a wood grip, but with a smaller payload area it should be fine. The sticker was the biggest issue, peeling off in little bits and leaving gobs of residue behinds. 1st world problems though.
