Great tool item. We moved into a home, and where I want to put my garden is a lot of sand, but also it was used as a burning pit, so to sift out whatever is in this pile, this will be a back saver and go much faster than kneeling down and sifting it out little by little. I'm glad to have this, it will even make sifting through dirt and and sand a breeze. This is a good length and very well built. You do have to put the handles together, but for the time and energy it's going to save me, this will work well, so I think it's a great value. The shovel part is not flimsy, this is a nicely made sifter.

I love the long handle on this shovel sifter, and I love all the things I can do with it. One of the things you can do with it is sif till dirt and shake a lot of the dirt you want to keep out through the sifter, then toss the weeds over your shoulder onto the driveway until you can come by and pick them up. Any little bit. That helps with weeding is a good thing. This seems like a strong, well-made tool that is going to last. I'm a convert.

My search for the perfect coop scoop is finally over. I have sand in my coop and used a diy makeshift scoop (a manure rake with hardwire cloth ziptied to it) for years, and while that worked, it suffered from constantly falling apart through constant use. I have also tried various extended cat litter like scoops and while those worked, they have never felt nearly as sturdy as this scoop, plus they had very small scoop sizes which made cleaning my large coop take longer than I'd like. This scoop is the answer.It looks like a shovel, it feels like a solid quality shovel. The holes work perfectly and efficiently to sift through the sand and hold on to the waste, even the smaller pieces. It doubles as a quick shovel when in need, and its easy to flip it and use it to push or pull sand around for better scooping or redistribution.I have no concerns that it will fall apart.

This sifting shovel is exactly what I needed for removing small rocks, sticks, and foreign objects from our raised garden beds as we preparing for the upcoming spring planting season. I am also using it to left out chopped weeds and plant debris from our half-barrels of compost tea that have been "brewing" all winter; simply shoveling up a scoop, allowing the tea to drain out, then tossing the drained weeds into our regular compost pile. Extremely easy to assemble, this shovel is extremely sturdy and will undoubtedly last for many years. Five stars!

I am excited to use this to sift out some bigger rocks from my nice sandy beach. I also think it will serve well scooping dog doo from the sand if needed. It assembled fine. The pieces of the shaft screw together and seem sturdy. The handle just pushes on. It seemed tight to get it on far enough and I hope it stays put. The shovel seems sturdy enough for sand, but I don't think I would dig holes in dirt with it. I tried sifting a bit, but it is cold here and the sand was wet. I bet it works fine in the summer. I think this is going to be a good find.

It can be real tough for me to get down into the little area we have a couple litterboxes in. It's a tight space to squat and is hard on my back. So I picked this up to give it a shot, and it actually works really great as a general litter box cleaner. Obviously it has large holes but it's a great way to get the bulk of it in the midweek clean before I get in and do it more detailed at the end of the week.

The shovel can be used with both poles or shortened by taking one pole out for short people and children/teens. The longer pole keeps more distance and is great for taller people. The sifting shovel I grabbed and intend to use is at the beach while sifting the sand and rocks while looking for agates, sea glass, shells, and lost items. It works perfectly. How it holds up I won't know until I have used it for months, hoping it does not rust. The picture says it is made of stainless steel the listing says it's made of metal. Okay, what kind of metal lol. The handle is made of 100% plastic, whereas the listing says it is aluminum. I am dropping one star because it was off and it did not include instructions on how to put it together. Though it is fairly easy to figure out, some people may need to see pictures and read instructions. I find it misleading when sellers do not add the proper data on the specs because people buy things expecting that is what they're getting. I wanted to point out those things. I do think the price is fair and more affordable than other options so I will give it that. If it rusts I will update it later. If it does not rust, then it is holding up well.

Easy to assemble. Handle his good strength. Shovel end is good. Nice flat shape. I admit this is especially good for scraping a soft driveways and asphalt.
