TIPS & TRICKS
- Use the Scoop Hand Tool for multiple purposes in the garden to increase your efficiency. Scoop out holes for planting as well as transfer soil, compost, and fertilizers from their containers directly to the desired locations.
- Instead of reaching for a knife or another blade, use the serrated tip on the scoop to open all types of bags from fertilizer to seed.
- For proper grip, hold the trowel firmly but comfortably, similar to how you would hold a hammer. This will reduce hand fatigue and give you better control.
- For digging holes or planting, use your wrist and forearm to drive the trowel into the soil, then lever it back to create a hole. For additional force, place the palm of your hand on the rounded end of the grip and push. Avoid using too much force to prevent strain on your body.
- Use the sturdy serrated tip on this scoop to cut through roots, and work efficiently with only one tool.

I keep a potting soil mix outside in a storage bin, and it gets a little bit frozen in cold weather. This scoop with the sharp teeth is perfect to loosen up the soil, as long as it's not frozen completely solid. It's also larger than I expected. It scoops a lot! I usually grab anything laying around to scoop soil while I'm repotting, but this is so much easier and more practical. It feels solid and well made. Absolutely love it.

I ordered this to replace my usual potting scoop that self-described. It functions the same as one without the teeth at the front, even if digging in the ground, which isn't a negative because functioning is still good, but it wasn't as beneficial as I expected. It is well made and easy to use. The edge cuts through clods well. The handle is also comfortable.

This tool has a ‘tooth-like’ tip making digging easier; it’s a comfortable sturdy product, easy to use, size is perfect for my intent … I’m planting Spring bulbs & after shoveling out the dirt volume & then using this scoop it is perfect for digging out& final leveling off of hole for secure bulb location! Nice sturdy handle just right for digging or using as a scoop for potting annuals!

Purchased this to plant my fall bulbs. Good size, not too heavy, and good grip on handle. This worked as a very handy scoop. Despite my very rocky soil, this scooper took on the scratches and hard surfaces well. The metal is thick and sturdy and the teeth make it easier to dig into even harder soil. Planting my daffodils and alliums was a piece of cake with this weasel. It will last for a long time. Would recommend wearing garden gloves since the rubber is hard type and can be rough on the palms if you use it for a long time. Otherwise, it's great picker upper and digger.
