Works great! My cat was so sad to see his old one go and took a little while to warm up to his new one but now love it! It's nice and stable, fits great in the room, was easy to assemble, sturdy, and attractive.

These scratching posts are simple to assemble, elegant in their simplicity, durable when used, and functional. These two bring our total to three.

Easy to assemble and its clean looking right out the box. My kitty is a bit larger and the height is perfect for him. Base is steady enough for my boy to get rough with it. Great for any size cat.

The value for your money on this scratching post is 10/10. I did some research on where to get the cheapest scratching post across a few stores both locally and online and this was one of the cheapest options. I figured we would try it since it’s just going to get torn up anyways and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The item is actually well made for the price and both our cats love it. It’s sturdy and we will definitely be ordering another when this one gets its use. It was easy to assemble as well, set up too less than 2 minutes.

I had one cat, ONE, and he is my sweet chill cat. No clawing at the furniture, no knocking things off in the floor, no shredding toilet paper into snowflakes. Well, I took on a sickly farm cat that was at my boyfriends and this cat is a she devil! Everything that I listed above that my first cat didn’t do, she does at volume 1000 and has taught my first cat all the bad habits. My furniture is going to have to be replaced because she has shredded the corners of it to bits and stuffing is coming out of the corners and she has only been here 4 months!! Anyway, I purchased this in hopes they would quit clawing at the furniture but I don’t have high hopes whatsoever. Boy am I shocked! They have not clawed at the furniture since!! I do wish I would have purchased a taller one though, they try to climb it pretty regular and my first cat is taller than this post when he is on his hind legs.

Very nice cat scratcher for the price. Cats love it. Made pretty well. Base could be heavier. My only problem is the fleece material on the base wraps to the bottom a little and it is like on ice on hardwood floors. I had some anti slip pads i stuck to bottom to help.

Gute Größe und gute Qualität. Hält lange. Wenn das Sisalband mal abgenutzt ist kann man es auch einfach austauschen.

Very good quality. My cats have never gone near it. At least they are leaving my furniture alone.

As other reviews have said, yes, this is not quality scratcher. The bottom is particle board, a few staples are visible at the top from where the twine was attached, and the rope is beginning to fray a little bit where my cat's claws dig in the most. However, for $15, I give it 5 stars. If it was $40, I would probably give it 3.It's a decent size, tall enough that even larger cats can get a good stretch in, and the carpet on it is very soft and differently textured from floor carpet, which is a very valuable quality when you're trying to teach a 7 month old stray that the floor is not okay to scratch but the scratcher is. My set came with the carpet "cap" already on the tube and was a breeze to assemble, even including the twisty thingy you need to screw the bolt through the particle board and into the tube.I've only had it for a few weeks, but it retains its original stability and shows no signs of breaking or falling apart. Like I mentioned, I do have a 7 month old kitten, so this may not be sturdy enough for a very large cat that's an avid scratcher.I originally bought this because I wasn't sure if the my kitten would prefer cardboard or twine. He seems to prefer clawing the cardboard scratcher, but he appreciates using this to stretch and occasionally claw. His favorite use of this post is pouncing on it, climbing up, and biting the top, which is a testament to its at least moderate stability. As an overview, I would definitely buy this again or reccomend it to friends as long as their cats don't go ham on scratching posts. Felix approves of its pounce capacity.
