I bought this for my kid's apartment and cats. They don't have a lot of room so this was nice as it doesn't take up a ton of room, yet it's taller than the average sisal scratching post. Took just a few minutes to assemble, and is pretty sturdy. They haven't tipped it over at all. The materials are decent quality. It has a few different features for them to play with too, which is nice. Plus it's different and cute looking like a tree. I rubbed some catnip on the sisal to get them interested in it. They seem to enjoy it and it was a good price for a bigger scratching post. I'd recommend it.

Great bargain for the price. Easy to assemble and looked exactly as pictured. About as sturdy as you would expect from similar products. My cats immediately started scratching it and rubbing on it now scratch it daily. Very functional overall.

Edit: returning as my 9 mos. old kitten (10lbs) keeps knocking it down and caught her claw on one of the staples.The idea is cute. The free feather toy was the biggest hit with Zumi. She can't get enough playtime. The colors of the scratching post are perfect for my décor. It beats the plain and basic scratching posts. The only thing is it's wobbly when my 9 month kitty scratches her claws on it. I'm afraid as she grows older and stronger it's just going to tip over and scare her away from using it. The construction is low end quality. There are staples (see red circles) clearly visible on all sides that scare me. I'm thinking my kitty may potentially catch her claws on one and cause an injury. The tree trunk pieces do not fit together properly leaving a gap making it look cheap. It was easy to put together. I will give it more time before deciding to keep it or return it. So far kitty has used this a couple of times.
