The brackets are not very sturdy. They don't stay securely in the wall. The shelves are solid.

This is the first time I ever built a cat wall shelf. I know my cats like to get up high and I figured this would be a great way to keep the entertain. I recommend putting all the cat furniture together first before putting up on wall. Everything looked great and was better quality than I expected.The mounts are extremely sturdy. They also come with wall screws if placing directing in dry wall. They also have directions if you are placing directly into stud but I am doing the first option. I highly recommend having another person help you out. My husband helped me keep everything even and balanced. The drilling of the holes, hammering in wall screw, and then screwing mount and arranging the wall furniture does take time, but it is well worth it.While this was time consuming, I would say this was easy to do. I imagine this would be very difficult to do solo, so as I said, definitely have a second pair of hands. This cat wall furniture covers a good portion of the wall. The cats love jumping, running, and chilling here. Overall, if I need another cat wall play area, I would get this again.

These cat scratching wall shelves are fantastic! Super sturdy and perfect for our active Bengal—he jumps, climbs, and scratches without any wobbling. The quality is great and they look nice on the wall. Assembly was a bit tricky, especially at the height I installed it but totally worth the effort. Once up, they’ve become our cat’s favorite hangout spot!.It is worth every penny spent.I would definitely recommend this item to all the crazy cat climbers out there.

I bought this set as an affordable means to extend a previous one and make some needed improvements. These are some of the sturdiest platforms covered in super-soft plush fabric. Our youngest cat was using the entryway table as a launch point, so I added length to the rope-covered pole to redirect his route. Right after installation, he had his claws in it and zipped up the wall faster than ever. This is incredibly fun to watch, but I am an avowed cat-person. I also used the large platforms to replace some smaller ones the other cats nap on. Now they can actually stretch out instead of dangling off the edges as they nab or make biscuits. All the cats seems to be enjoying the upgrades (I can't exactly ask them) and if the cats are happy, we’re happy.

Between the quality and the aesthetics of the fabric chosen, this isn’t a set I would want to install in a high-visibility spot. I’m disappointed as I was hoping this could be installed this in our living room for our active bengal-mix to have a some high spots to play and keep away from the other cats. Unfortunately the fabric covering the pieces looks cheap and is unlikely to stand up to very much cat abuse. This will probably end up being installed in the basement, but I’m also disappointed because the poor quality fabric will render it totally useless once it’s scratched and torn through. I’m considering whether we should just recover it in small carpet scraps before installing it to increase the longevity of the set.For the price point of $90 at time of review (~$100 with $10 off coupon) I would have expected much better quality material.

It's not a perfect set, but it's pretty decent. Putting it together is basically just screwing the wall attachments to the shelves and screwing on a couple of rope covered tubes.We decided to space differently than suggested. I will say that the wall anchors and screws are solid. I found it easier to just use the anchors in dry wall without attaching to studs so I could space a little differently. They are plenty solid with the anchors that come with them and huge screws. I actually had trouble screwing into studs because the despite their length and thickness, the screws would strip before doing all the way into a stud. I actually think the screws are a bit overkill and probably too long. Either way you do it though, they're not going anywhere and will hold a 12lb cat easily.I can get one of my cats to play on them with a toy and, but so far, neither of them had decided to climb or lounge on the set of their own free will. I feel like some of the boards should be longer do they would be more appealing. The cat hammock is pointless, only a baby kitten could fit in it. After originally putting it on, we decided to just remove it before mounting to the wall.Not a bad set, but I do hope the cats decide to use it on their own. For now, we'll just keep encouraging them to use it with play sessions and hope they get used to them in awhile.

Smaller than I thought it would be based on the pictures but perhaps my cats are just large haha, and the material feels cheaply made and like it won't last long when faced with cats scratching and climbing it, but overall not a bad purchase. I really like the assortment of shapes so you can arrange them however you like on the wall and for the price I would say its worth it.

After all is said and done and the instructions are deciphered, this is pretty cool when you get it all up! The cats do like it, and even though some of the planks are a little small, my cats seem to be making good use of it.Now let’s talk about the installation. I’m gonna give it a 6/10 for installation. It is definitely a two person job, and while it comes with the tools you need to get this up, it’s probably gonna take something extra, so just be prepared. The threads on the provided screws aren’t thick enough to stick into the studs, so i had to get some special screws that would grip the dry wall and not strip in the studs. I also needed a bit extender for my drill as the space was too tight to get the screw into the wall bracket with ease. It took a couple of hours to put everything together and up, but after using some elbow grease it did eventually go up.If your cats are on the smaller side, i definitely recommend trying this product out, my cats love it and it is much more space efficient solution to a traditional cat tree.

all the pieces are made from good material (forgot the name, it's not particle board). I feel that they will last a while.The challenge in installation is distributing them on the wall the way you like while hitting all the studs.one of my cats absolutely loves the Sofa, while another goes crazy jumping from onr platform to the other until finally settling in the basket... it is definitely a success in my home.adding some fake hanging plants helps boosting the looks and gives the cats things to jump at and pull.Absolutely love it.

These wall steps for the cats are so much fun once they are installed & your cats are no longer confused by them. This has nothing to do with the quality, our cats are weirdos, I had to introduce them one by one & show them they would be safe on each piece. The youngest of our 6 cats, the male of our 2 year old twins is absolutely fearless & he’ll do anything I ask of or teach him. Case in point, he knows kisses & rollover, smart as a whip. When I showed him the steps were safe, just by setting him on each one while my hands were right beside him. Once he, Coco, figured out they were safe, kid only stops climbing them to eat, sleep & do his business. His step of choice is the one that is like a little alcove because he can (or so he thinks) hide & startle the others. Fun fact, even our 17 year old Calico, Callie enjoys these! I think they make her feel younger again. Her favorite is the single shelf, not the one with the cat outline, but the other one. I mounted just a thick string for her to play with above it & she goes there to play for a few minutes when she’s feeling playful, which I love. Our 16 year & 12 year old boys love to just perch on the ones we installed lower to the floor. The 2 & 4 year old girls go bonkers for the higher up ones. These steps are so good for entrainment. I have installed them in my office so they give me comic relief throughout my workday. Highly recommend for cats of all ages. Quality product too & for added fun, sprinkle some catnip to really pique the interest of your cats. These are worth the $79.99 & more because they are almost like you had custom furniture made for your cats. I am planning to place 1-3 more orders for our other rooms, I’m thinking our living room, bedroom & possibly one of our hallways.
