It was 1 to 1.5 mm shorter than described making it loose inside the mocker pot. It was very frustrating to use but wasn't worth sending back. It would seem that the nine cup would fit the six cup better.

The gasket material is slightly undersize and thinner than original gasketThis means it falls out of the groove in the pot and does not retain the upper filter screen.Also it does not seal the two sections and leaks steam to the extent no coffee is percolated.I need my coffee.

Gaskets compress with daily use. This replacement stops leakage between upper and lower chambers..

Il rivenditore consigliava di prendere la misura per accertarsi di comprare le guarnizioni giuste. Inoltre, sul sito indicava che le guarnizioni sono adatte per Bialetti. Ho preso la misura del diametro della mia caffettiera, ed ho ordinato le guarnizione corrispondenti. Però, non funzionano: fuoriesce acqua dalla caffettiera. Il motivo è che in realtà il diametro è un millimetro inferire al necessario, e ciò causa il malfunzionamento. Non le ho potute restituire, avendo aperto la confezione. Ho riacquistato guarnizioni Bialetti, ad un prezzo comparabile, che si sono rivelate perfette. Il mio consiglio è: prendete i pezzi originali, per risparmiare tempo e soldi.

Fixed good in the coffee maker

It barely fit my 6 cup stainless GAT coffee pot. So after a few tries I was able to make it fit , but let a lot of steam through the sides. Never had this issue with my older rubber gaskets. I have now better luck with silicone gaskets.They also don’t fit as they are a mm longer, but the trick is to store them in the freezer and use them whenever I make coffee.
