Good quality materials. I was concerned it would not work well on glass top range but it works very well.

I have had many Keurigs, and anyone who’s bought one knows they are not cheap and. They have only ever lasted a year, maybe a year and a half at most. For the price of this unit, the option to use pods, AND grounds For less than 25 bucks? Grab it, it’s a steel, it works well, it’s compact, and the grab and go mug is very convenient.

This is a one cup coffee maker and it does it great. It works as good and is way faster then my old B&D Brew-and-Go maker. You only put COLD water in it, do not put hot water in it! It will not make it brew any faster and will probably make it shut down sooner. It's the same type "percolator" with the thermo "on" switch as my old one. You CAN'T turn it off before it's done, it will only turn off when the thermostat resets at the end of the brewing. If you mess up and forgot to put the coffee in or put the cup under it and you turn it on (I've heard it happens......) then -just unplug the cord-. If it's like my old one it may still be "on" when you plug it back in and will start and end normally. It will not hurt it if it runs without water as it will just reset the switch after a few seconds. It may shorten it's life span if you do it often tho. Be aware that when I took it out of the box, threw some water in it and plugged it in before I put the coffee in it immediately started brewing, evidently banging around in the box turned it on some how, Just unplug it, finish it up, then plug it back in and all is good. just letting you know. You cannot add more water for a larger cup as that is the capacity of the reservoir. I use my old cup so I don't use the cup it came with but the one time I used it it was fine. My old cup is the same capacity as the new one so that works out great. I'm just a one cup coffee sipper usually. For me on cold mornings, I first fill my cup with hot water from the sink and let it sit while I prepare the coffee and when I'm ready I just pour the water out of the cup into the sink and put the cup in the maker and it seems to keep the coffee warmer longer. Some brands will cut off before it's done if brewing many cups in a row, If your having issues throw a little ice in with the water in the reservoir, preferably crushed ice, just enough it will melt by the time it gets to the bottom and it should work fine. I don't know if this one has that problem. I didn't buy the coffee maker for their cup, so I don't care it their cup is lousy or fantastic. If I wanted a fantastic cup/thermos I would look for one. For me it worked fine.

I pretty much use this every day. It's fairly easy to use, and pretty easy to clean afterward, and it makes the right amount of coffee. It doesn't make coffee quickly, but that's not really a big deal usually. It is also rather noisy while percolating, but that is part of the appeal. It's also pretty fun to watch the water (and later, coffee) splashing up into the clear knob as it percolates. My one complaint would be that the lid and knob both suggest you should be able to open it at any time, but in reality, everything except the handle gets really hot, so you really need it to be cool before you open it.

This little coffee maker exceeded my expectations. It brews a great cup of coffee. It's easy to use. I bought it for a camping trip. I wanted to try it out beforehand and I wasn't disappointed. It's light. Makes hot, delicious coffee. It doesn't take up much space. My only caution would be to make sure the top is screwed on as tight as possible because if it isn't it will leak from the lid. I don't this should hinder anyone from buying this. I'm old and my hand strength isn't what it once was. The price was comparable to some I saw on the Walmart web site. I've had trouble with things I've bought there and never received ect. I'm thinking of buying a second one in case anything ever happens to this one. That's how much I appreciate this little coffee maker. It's perfect if you live alone.

This is my fourth single-cup coffee maker and it is the first to work as it should. No after-brew dripping, reasonably quick, good cup with stainless steel interior is readily washable, good flavored coffee. I recommend it.

When you buy an electric drip coffee maker the coffee comes out hot for the first few weeks, and then it slowly deteriorates to an unsatisfactory brew. The heat plate on the machine fails to live up to the task to keep hot coffee at a peak temperature. I have not used a percolator in over 25 years, and this machine works like a charm. In fact the first cup of java was so hot it nearly scorched my tongue, and about 15 minutes later the second cup of fresh coffee was hotter than the former electric coffee machine. A great buy....

Overall I really like the unit. Works well and quickly. Only downfall is the cup is insulated and it came apart when I ran it through the dishwasher.

I bought this to make a quick pot of coffee in my dorm room. Once I made my first cup of coffee, I was horribly upset. I thought I could fill the water basin up with three cups of water so I didn't have to constantly pour water in it. When I plugged the machine in, it immediately started brewing out ALL OF THE WATER. That's right - the entire basin was emptied and I had to keep putting mugs under the dispenser because THE WATER KEPT COMING. Keep in mind, all I did was plug the machine in. I didn't even hit the power button! Obviously I tried hitting the power button to stop the spewing water, but that did NOTHING. I unplugged the machine as well, and the WATER KEPT COMING. HOW??? I tried it again today, and I only poured one cup of water in. Once again, the power button does not work - it just immediately starts brewing once I plugged it in. Coffee spewed EVERYWHERE. For the sake of your patience and your clean kitchen, DO NOT BUY
