Nice design allows traveler's name to show but not any personal info such as address or phone numbers. Good price for package of two tags

Does what it needs to do - shows the first name/abbreviation you want but nothing else. It's required to untag the whole thing to get the information, so it's more secure. The tag is rigid, so if you have it on a backpack it might flap at you and hit you in the face or something depending on how you secure (recommend minimum movement). On a carry-on or larger luggage it's great. Durable, secure, and does what's needed without telling everyone your phone-number or email at a glance.

I have a pretty plain black suitcase, so I needed something so distinguish it on a trans-Atlantic trip. Got these hoping they would be good enough and they were! Saw everything from heavy downpour to getting stepped on at an angle by my nowhere-near-featherweight self; didn’t crack or break and the writing didn’t smear or run. Some people mentioned the clasping mechanism being hard to understand, but after using I’m inclined to believe these people are either octogenarians or haven’t yet made the switch from velcro to shoe laces. Looks great too, so overall just great!

I bought this in a panic as I brought up my suitcase on saturday for my flight early monday morning to see that my tag fell off the last time I used it (thank goodness for 12 hour delivery times!). I chose Travelon because that is the same brand of my luggage. When it arrived it took me a good 10 minutes to figure out how to open it. [You have to take off the loop entirely and then swivel the top and bottom pieces away from each other. You're welcome.] Otherwise, it worked just fine & I love the bright color options to make it easier to determine it is your suitcase.

I liked the color and that only your name was in view but they are plastic & I’m not sure they would hold up long term. I will be returning the tags.

Muy prácticas, fáciles de instalar y discretas dejando ver solo el nombre y no la dirección, las utilice en mi último viaje de varios trayectos en avión y resistieron bien el trato en los aeropuertos.

Set of two, great price, sturdy, and durable. Love that my personal information is concealed but can be accessed if my bags are lost. As someone who travels a lot, I don't love the luggage tags that expose all of your information. This one just shows your name through a window. Perfect.

Ordering these was a shot in the dark, I really didn't know what to expect but I like the privacy aspect while still being able to have contact information on the bag.As it turns out, I love these tags. There is no way one of these tags is going to just fall off. The hang strap is very tough plastic (synthetic) material and while I have no doubt some airline, somewhere, could break the hang strap it will take some work. Also, unless someone is very familiar with how the hang strap threads through the buckle they're not going to be able to open it in a very short time frame, so short of cutting it off to gain immediate access your more personal information is relatively secure. The tag itself is molded out of a tough material and the yellow ones I got are bright, which will be nice for spotting them on the luggage carousel.Several folks have mentioned how they open. Part of the reason for this is because the instructions and information on the packaging is NOT CORRECT. It shows a different style of luggage tag.To Open: 1) Remove the hang strap, and 2) Pivot the two parts (upper and lower) opposite each other. That's it. What looks like a button (or such) on the tag, at the end opposite the hang strap, is a plastic rivet; the upper and lower half of the tag pivot on the rivet. So, if you remove the hang strap and hold the tag at the hang strap end between your thumb and forefinger then fan them open (like you would fan several playing cards in your hand) the two halves separate very easily. DO NOT pry the two halves apart, you'll break the plastic rivet.
