I had to buy these for the luggage tag shown above because the straps I was provided with were extremely flimsy. These are very sturdy, thick and hold well against anything the suitcase is put through. It's easy to attach and will hold your luggage tag in place! It's a bit hard to unscrew if you need to switch it to another piece of luggage but I know that means my tag is not going anywhere and that no one can easily steal my Koya.

I used these for luggage tags and theft deterrents to prevent pickpocketing of zippers on carryon bags and backpacks while in cities and public transportation. They will not prevent someone from getting in if they have time and access, but the deterrent is that it takes a while to unscrew the loop and few pickpockets have wire clippers handy. They are well constructed and the ends were secure (I pulled on each one before using them). They can be difficult to unscrew if you leave them curved where the threaded end is, so straighten the wire a bit before unscrewing. I also found it helpful to permanently bend the wire so it was flatter rather than a round loop. I would definitely recommend these straps.

Great price, easy to close and screw shut to secure, stainless steel and strong. They label these as keychains and I'm sure they would do that fine, but I use them for luggage tags and other things. I recently used three to fix the house number sign on our mailbox. The nylon tie-wraps I had been using kept failing, probably due to being out in the sun and all that. These should not deteriorate for a very long time.

I've been trying to figure out the reviews that complain about this loop coming apart. The ends screw together and have a relatively long thread. Don't stop tightening until the threaded end is completely in place. Then, it won't fall apart and is virtually indestructible. They are a bit short and at times cause slight issues with thicker luggage tags due to their inflexibility.
