Just the job, the new Cork gasket split and leaked. This is much more robust, the best gasket by far.

Seems to b an excellent gasket. I absolutely hate cork gaskets and the ones that are suppusedly rubber or fiber. I am too spoiled by modern cars that don't leak any oil to accept even a seep from any gaskets.it comes on a thick piece of heavy cardboard, double wrapped in clear plastic. It is just as the Ad pictures it.This has a steel core and it is very rigid. It is not floppy at all and stays flat.It measures 0.190 thick uncompressed, so about 3/16 inch thick.I Approve of this pan gasket and I hope my review was a little bit HeLpFuL to You !!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is a combination of an internal steel support which allows the gasket to be installed easily by feeding the bolts through the holes of the pan. However, it does have the polymer rubber material that forms the seal between the pan and the transmission.

It appeared to be to be well made . I have been and owned an auto service center for over 30 years have serviced thousands of transmissions . I installed the gasket as instructed and next day getting leakage from front left corner . I,am using a aluminum cast pan which has perfect mating service very frustrating
