The OEM transmission pan didn't come with oil drain plug. RAM ProMaster 1500 design is poor quality. They're like you go to dealership will charge your money! That's why I replaced to this, Came with oil drain plug that's why I payed for it. Nicely designed ☺️Looks everything is no leaking. RTV gasket is working pretty. Recommend.

The drain plug of the pan was cross threaded and stripped out. Could not be used.

I bought two of these, to install on both of my vehicles with 62TE transmissions. I couldn't be more pleased with these trans. pans! They are the same gauge (metal thickness), as the OEM units are...if not a bit heavier...but I cannot confirm that either. Having the ability to drain the trans. fluid, at the next oil change, is the biggest reason why I purchased this! The provided pan gasket worked great too. No leaks or drips at all!I would purchase again, if I ever needed to.

Dodge don't put a drain plug in their original pans and can get messy when doing a fluid and filter change.Bought this to replace the original as I intend to keep the vehicle a long time. Will make future changes much easier.

The pan has a drain plug built in was made very sturdy and gasket was made well and sealed first time. I bought this pan and gasket because the original pan didn't have a drain plug and it was time to change the filter anyway. My plan is to change fluid every 30K mile and filter 60K miles. So, if you want to extend your life of your transmission I would recommend getting this filter and gasket so you can change fluid more often. It is cheaper to by transmission fluid at about $6 dollars a quart than $4000 for new transmission.Replacing the transmission was easy to perform with out even lifting the car. The pan is within arms reach from the front of the vehicle, can be little messy when you unbolt it. If done right you can do it with out spilling a drop.Good Luck

Well made, thick steel stamping, comes with nice rubber-like gasket. Both the pan and the gasket fit the 62TE transmission in my 2012 Dodge GC perfectly. Another plus is the gasketed drain plug, which the OEM part lacked. Pan is 100% dry and leak-free after 1 week of normal driving. No need to spend more on any other replacement pan.
