Notice how there is a dog ear in the upper-left of the gasket in the pic, but its internal shape is still squared off? That means that the gasket will dog-ear outwards for a case fill case shape in its outer dimension, but the internal dimensions of the gasket can still fit the square pan without the dog-ear on that corner. Genius. If you don't get what I mean, just look up case fill vs pan fill C4 transmissions and notice the shape difference on that corner (front-passenger corner when installed).

Same here.. Cork is the only way to go on the classics. However, where do you get a cork gasket these days?Note, I bought an Oreilly gasket that was completely worthless and did the same , ie wasted 3 quarts of F type.So far this Felpro is holding fluid...
