Arrived today, fast delivery, but case was broken & doesn't close so not great for storage or ease of use in track bag which was kinda the point 😞.Gonna keep as my daughter needs tonight for track practice but now I need to find a storage replacement, sigh.Actual spikes and wrench look to be good quality. I'll update my review if that changes.

Product Reviewed: 48pcs Track Spikes 1/4 Inch Steel Pyramid Track Shoes SpikesTL;DR; Hardened steel based on file test; Sturdy wrench;Curiosity got the better of me. These are hardened steel tested with a file coated with something like an iridized finish. I intend to use them for robust painters pyramid board for drying painted parts.I think they will work for my intended purpose and if you want these spikes for your cleats then rest assured they are pretty nice quality machined spikes and quite hard. The packaging is pretty minimal also which is nice.No complaints 5 Stars.How I review:Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points.- 0 for value but I try to provide guidance-0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel-0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on executionI select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. I got these for cross-country running. The kit has plenty of spikes and includes a helpful wrench to replace them. I like that the spikes are made of stainless steel, which should last longer than the softer aluminum ones. The wrench is a nice plus, and this is a good set for the price.

Both my girls are in track. Having extra spikes on hand is a must! This back is going to be a lifesaver. Since they haven't been to the track yet, I don't know how well they will hold up, but they actually seem better quality than the spikes that came with their shoes. I think they'll work great!

Spikes come with a wrench that works perfectly for removing old spikes and adding the new ones as well as a little plastic case to store everything in (including the wrench). I've provided a comparison shot of three different spikes from my shoes, gold color being the new ones from this set. Spikes fit snuggly in place and don't leave me with any worries regarding them coming out on their own.
