This port is so underrated! Every house should have this! Very tiny and light weight but it's very reliable! I've had it for few months now and the internet speed is super accurate. Very easy to use.

Reasonably priced, very small, very light, and very quiet (no fan.) Works as advertised. Link activity LED lights are located at the base of each port so I have to position the box with the connected cat cables facing toward me to see the lights.

I have two of these switches daisy-chained, one is connected directly to my router, and the second one is daisy chained into that first one via the internal Cat-6 cabling that's installed in my apartment walls. Never had an issue with the performance of these switches, they've worked brilliantly for my home network, which includes multiple computers plugged directly into them, a NAS server, my Apple TVs, and a PS5. Never a slow-down or a hiccup, they are still going strong. Not only do they work well, but the aesthetics of these are great too, they ditched that 90s industrial look that so many other network switches still carry with them

Very light (solid plastic) and nice simple design.>>> (Under all reserve), THE PERFORMANCES of this HUB (splitter) totally depend on your internet or network speed and also on the quality of your adsl-ethernet cables. It will work without difficulty with adsl cables CAT8-7..., going down (see the difference on the Internet).- Forward your ADSL (ethernet-internet CABLES) destinations from your home internet source (or network), to; the desktop computer, a laptop computer, another wifi modem (with a switch for example), an android box or a tv, etc., all of whom can then use the same broadband modem in turn or at the same time.> It's not like a (more expensive) self-managed router that contribute ALSO protects your IP address from being intrusion. It's a splitter with electrical amplification (3.7W, 1000mb per second) that keeps (all) your connections at HIGH SPEED and maximum performance.(PERSONAL OPINION*) The use of a WIRED INSTALLATION lDOES NOT CONTRIBUTE to adding a surplus of WIFI waves in an environment OFTEN ALREADY TOO full of various waves, and often even the WIFI of others.* In the end, it can only be MORE BENEFICIAL FOR GENERAL HEALTH AND AMBIENT MORALE, whatever some propaganda may say.(TIP) When looking for a modem (or an Internet distributor), try to find a WIFI modem with an ON-OFF switch. Routers with a (native) switch closing only the WIFI antenna of the rest of the dispatch are unfortunately as rare as internet provider modems without a wifi antenna that must be provided (with or without ADSL wiring). Otherwise, consider getting another modem without an antenna (help yourself from a technician if its possible or necessary) and a second one with WIFI (connect to this kind of HUB...). There exist also some model of integrated switches on AC extension cords (or the multiplugs), all for always having the possibility of manually switching off the WIFI router between uses and possibly the HUB and the rest of your installation at night.> This HUB dont have a native switch ON-OFF (like the most part)QUALITY-PRICE: At this price (-20$) it is a VERY INTERESTING high-performance choice that does not have much competition in recognized brands.Hope this unbiased review can contribute in your own decision.

This does the job of a network switch. Of that I have no complaints. For just under $20 you get a hunk of plastic that looks pretty sleek and expands your network by 7 ports (the eighth is really to connect to your router). Give it some power and start plugging your stuff in. Easy. The lights on each port are not obnoxiously bright like my cable modem which is nice, and I don't hear the hum or squeal some folks have noted in their reviews. If I put my ear directly on it I hear what resembles those noises but under normal circumstances being at least 2 feet away with other ambient noise in the room I do not hear it. My main issue is that it is way too light to stay in place, hence the loss of 1 star on this review. The weight of the 7 ethernet cords in the back make it pop a wheelie on my desk. Even 2 or 3 are enough to drag it off the desk. It would be helpful if they add $1 to the price and add rubber feet to the bottom. The bottom does have 4 small "feet" but they are just part of the molded plastic case. If they were rubber/rubberized then perhaps it wouldn't slide so much or at least you could put some weight on top and have it stay in place. But putting something on top takes away from the looks of it so...I could have gotten the metal version which may be heavy enough to stay put, and this one does have 2 keyhole slots on the back for hanging, both of which would have been fine for my desk at work, but with the sleek black look let's be honest, it's marketed for the home consumer. Who is going to mount this on their living room wall with cords hanging off it or want the bulky metal one on display? So, overall it does it's job and I don't regret purchasing it, I just wish it was a bit heavier so it would stay put.
