The switch works great, have not had any issues.The switch does run hot by itself, increasingly so if using the SFP ports.Here is a simple mod for anyone able to use a soldering iron and doing so takes care of the heat buildup.I used the "WEDRAIR 40mm 12V DC Brushless 4010 High Speed Turbo Blower Fan 2Pin with 39inch Cable for Replacement and Upgrade 3D Printer Accessories (Pack of 2Pcs)"https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRYDGMVHGlued the four corners of the fan to the case top with small dabs of "E6000 Clear Multipurpose Adhesive"Note in my pictures the exact position (this is required for the fan to sit between the components of the switch).Around the case (not blocking the fan output) I just put some painters tape over those holes and over the + shaped mounting holes on the outside of the bottom of the case. This keeps air flowing only from the opposite open side and across the switch interior.I cut and soldered the positive tip of the fan wire to the center power pole and the negative wire to the side pole.The fan fits perfectly inside the chassis and keeps any heat from building up inside.Perfect for me.

Was getting transfer speeds up to about 140MB/s with a 1Gb switch now transfer speeds are usually over 800MB/s. Not too shabby. At least for the year 2025.

I was looking for a quick, easy, and cheap upgrade for the local network to 2.5 G before maybe getting 2GB internet, and it has worked without issue so far.

this is a good price and works great, no issues, other than SFP+ to RJ45 adapters for the 10g ports run really hot, but they are designed to. I had to add some heat sinks to each adapter, and I also made some modifications to the switch enclosure and put a fan on it to keep it running cool and smoothly.

working great, computers at least recognize 2.5g connection speedUpdate: I got this to replace a 1gb netgear switch I had. About a week or so after the original purchase the product started intermittently not working (devices plugged into it lost connection). I thought just a bad one and did a return/replace. The second one started doing the exact same thing within 72 hrs. I know it is not my equipment as the 1gb switch it is replacing is back in place and working fine. I got two of these that stopped working, I think this is just a bad product.

works great. plug it into your 2.5GB capable router and split it off to other pcs. Also has 2 SFP+ ports for high speed LAN between 2 pcs on home network. SFP+ 10gig card 40$ SFP+ transceiver 12$ 8$ for lc to lc multimode fiber cable. If you have multiple pcs that sends data backs and forth this is the ultimate setup on buget. 10gb copper is good but those components cost much more.After a few days of use I have come to realize the SFP transceiver gets very warm when in the switch. I put a small desk fan set on low to move a little air into the vent holes o one side of switch and out the other side. this helped tremendously. SFP+ transceiver is a 10gtek

Switch is prijs kwaliteit gezien wel heel goed.Ben er blij mee heb alleen nog niet de 10gb uit kunnen proberen. Heb het op mijn nas aangesloten en top.

permet de passer les 1GBps : j'atteint 1500Mbps maximum mais le débit est instable.cependant je ne sais pas ce qui bride la connexion, tous les voyants indiquent que je suis bien en 2.5Gbps.après recherche sur les forums apparemment la delta ne supporte pas trop d'avoir un routeur intermédiaire, il vaut mieux brancher le câble dac directement de la delta sur la carte réseau 2.5gbps du pc.a noter que le routeur branché sur la carte réseau 1G le débit est stablerouteur branché sur la carte réseau 2.5G : le débit est en vagueidem selon le serveur de test utilisé : le débit est plus ou moins stable et/ou important ce qui me laisse supposer que c'est le réseau FAI qui bride et pas mon matériel. (voir les captures).d'autres m'ont répondu qu'ils sont aussi bridés a 1400 - 1500Mbps : si quelqu'un a une idée ou solution je suis preneur. Les tests avec routeur QNAP sont pareils.petite remarque pour le fabricant : il aurait été bien d'avoir les prise SFP a l'arrière du boitier pour pouvoir utiliser un DAC de 50 cms : avoir toutes les prises en face avant dans une baie c'est sympa mais pour une utilisation domestique c'est mois pratique d'avoir les câbles qui font des cercles (on ne peut pas plier a angle droit la fibre ou le câble du dac).les + : reçu rapidement, prix abordable, boitier de petite taille, différents voyants qui indiquent les vitesses, pas de ventilos bruyants, possibilité de la fixer au mur ou autre, alim livrée avec, non manageable (on branche est ca fonctionne), se met en veille lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé (consomme moins), 4 rj45 en 2.5Gbps, 2 sfp qui permettent de mettre des routeurs en cascades.les - : chauffe un peu, conso elec (10w), marque inconnue (pas de possibilité de trouver des renseignements dessus). position des prises nécessitant d'utiliser des câbles plus longs que nécessaire, comme il n'est pas manageable on ne voit pas ce qui se passe dedans.je mets 5 étoiles car le boitier semble fonctionner correctement, mais je reste dans l'expectative sur ce qui bride mon débit.
