Simple and reliable switch from a well known brand. I usually use lower cost items from competitors for non-critical deployments, but this low cost Cisco switch is a great choice for more mission critical / secure environments.

I have 10 of these in my rats-nest of a lab. Very convenient. Be careful that there is a tiny on/off switch that's hard to notice. Once I thought one had failed, but it had just been switched off. :)

I can’t agree with the negative reviews here. This is a solid Cisco unmanaged switch that does its job. An important, but basic one. Handshakes. Accept no substitutes because the others will disappoint. They are cheaper for a reason! For a basic network setup, this is perfect.

I got internet lag spike when working, zoom, remote destop manager, gaming, etc. when my cable rj45 cat 6 is connected to the switch. I do not have this problem when connected directly in the router.
