Was a little tricky installing on a 1978 F250 Dentside Ford along with the brackets of the universal rails for 5th wheel/gooseneck hitches, but got it done.

We installed this on our 1997 Ford F-150. The installation went okay but the holes on the brackets attaching it to the frame didn't line up properly. Then when trying to hook up the air line, it was difficult to get the line onto the valves. Once we did get it hooked up, the valves leaked so the cushions wouldn't inflate. Now we are trying to find new valves and it's becoming a losing battle. Afraid if we try to get new from the same company the quality will be the same as what we received originally.

Great kit. Super easy to install on my 96 dodge ram 2500 Cummins. Tips: mount the bottom bracket where you want it first...then install the air bag..then stage where you want the top bracket to be and then use some deep throat vise grips to hold it in place while you mark the holes...mom and make sure the bags done rub the frame. I had to space the top bracket out with qty (5) 3/8 fender washers per mounting hole...also make sure the top 90 degree air fitting that screws on the air bag is tight!!!! Mine had a leak. I had to take it apart, clean it and put some pipe tape on it. Overall very happy. Time will tell how long the bags will last before they leak.

It arrived on time. The air bag kit was packaged well with no surprises. It installed in a couple hours, I had to make some spacers due to frame geometries that did not match up to the flat brackets that came with the kit. Honestly I think you will have the same issues I had with the competitions kit as well.Once installed, a week later I put 60 psi in the bags and drove my truck and my newly purchased 11,000 pound fifth wheel camper, pretty much across New England. No issues! The truck and new air bags performed excellent!
