I looked at a bunch of bag kits from just about everyone. Air lift had the best reviews. Plus my buddy and I put one of these on his Chevy truck .Easy installation I like the remote to. So far it’s working as specified. My truck is a 2008 LT 4x4 Silverado 1500. The only concern I have is when the bags are deflated I don’t have much suspension. So I keep about 25 lbs in it so that gives me about 2-3” of rear travel when I don’t have a tow. It’s a 4x4 so it’s already up and not it has a rake.

Installed this lift kit on our 2017 Chevy Silverado LTZ 4x4 6.2 short bed truck prior to a Michigan trip this past September. I am 66 and while I have the skill set to install these, it was a bit more difficult for me due to fact I don't have a lift and had to do this in our gravel (chip seal) driveway. I would say the install took me right at three hours (since I had to crawl out from under the truck multiple times). Overall the quality of the kit is excellent. I did not opt for installing two separate schrader valves (because I've never had to load the truck that differently to need to adjust it like that. In any case, we have a 32' FR Catalina Legacy that has (I measured it)_ just under 900 lbs. I also have an Equal-i-Zer 1000 weight distribution hitch installed as well. The WDH does perform well but we tend to get a of pogo-ing when on rough roads that the Lippert Suspension Equalizers can't control. Anyways, on this trip, with the lift kit installed, I started at 50 psi to start out. After a few miles of trial and error on the air pressure, it finally was determined that 45 psi worked great to maintain level and minimize pogo. Without the trailer and hitch, I have also determined that 25 psi works good to minimize "jounce" (to install the air bags you must remove the jounce bumper on each side that is between the frame and suspension. Note: You must run at least 5 psi or the warranty is void. At this point I opted not to go the extra $$$ for the auto-leveling pump kit as I was able to quickly find the best riding sweet spot. Also, note that air springs are NOT intended, nor should be used, to increase the load capacity of your vehicle. The max load your vehicle can carry IS the MAX load your vehicle can carry. Period.

Easy process to install. Comes with everything you need and instructions are straight forward and simple. Had this installed in about 2.5 hours working solo. No drilling, cutting or grinding necessary. No leaks on first air up and still hasn’t lost air 2+ weeks after install. Makes towing a dream and wouldn’t go back to standard suspension. Definitely will use this company again for future trucks. Thanks Air Lift for an amazing product!!

I purchased this to level out my truck a bit while pulling my 31’ 7500lb (loaded) camper. Installation was pretty quick and straightforward. I was trying to keep an eye on my toddlers while installing it so it probably took me a bit longer than it should have (about 2.5 hours).I ended up painting my “caps/hats” that go on top and bottom of the bags in hopes that they don’t rust out quick since I got the steel ones. All in all, these worked perfect. My only complaint was the price dropped 3 days after I received mine and was hoping to just get the price adjusted ($75 difference if I recall correctly) but instead per amazon “rules” I had to return it and order another one. Not a big deal, I’m glad I didn’t install it the day I got it or I would have been out the price difference.

2011 gmc 1500 with a sled deck I can put two snowmobiles on the back with the airbags installed they do exactly what I needed the truck has no troubles.I would advise if your buying this kit buy the tee for the air line to tie both airbag together so you only have one valve stem and both will fill at the same psi evenly

Love the kit. It was an easy install. The only issue that I had was getting the driver's side u- bolt up over the frame. Really tight spot, but doable. I installed the bags on my 2019 1500 Silverado, and ran the fill line to the license plate. I wish I didn't put the valves there, as I adjust when my camper is loaded, and the gate is down, making it awkward.Still, an absolute game changer that I should have implemented sooner.

Bought for my 2015 Silverado 1500 so I could carry a 1500lb camper. I have the HD suspension and with the 10 ply tires I needed something to get that last bit to level the truck. These work great with about 35/40 lbs of air. Truck rides and handles like the camper isn’t there. When the camper is off I generally air down to 10lbs. This doesn’t affect the ride as much as the tires. Installation was about an hour or so and was much easier than I anticipated. All in all I’m quite pleased with these and the seller shipped promptly.

my 2015 gmc sierra rear springs just aren't near as heavy duty as my 97 chevy rear springs. i guess my 97 is a heavy half or something. i used to be a mechanic, i'm not a mechanic anymore because i have multiple sclerosis and can't keep up with the physical demands of being a mechanic as a job. i do still work on my own vehicles, it just takes me longer than usual. it took me all day to install these springs and the compressor. had to take several breaks. if i can install it, i'd say pretty much anyone can do it. just gotta follow the instructions. they did firm up my ride a hair, but not as firm as adding a steel leaf or 3/4 ton leaf springs. i like that i can keep them at low pressure and not really compromise my ride quality unless i'm actually hauling something heavy. added these so i could haul cars on my trailer without the rear of the truck squatting too much.

First, installation: The brackets fit perfectly on my 2017 Sierra 1500, 6.5’ bed. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me about 3 hours for the entire job including getting out tools, lifting my truck, removing tires and the reverse, by myself. I could’ve gone a little faster, but I was being very careful to do it correctly the first time.Second, performance: I placed my valves on my bumper near my license plate and used a cigarette lighter tire compressor to inflate which worked well and was an inexpensive option. Not to mention the multipurpose of the compressor. I towed a travel trailer with a gross weight of 7,500 pounds, a tongue weight of 850 pounds and around 400 pounds of bikes and gear in the truck bed. I found that 45 psi worked well for me. It slowed down the bouncing and kept my truck riding flat. I had to adjust the ball height and angle on my hitch due to the proper ride height.Overall, easy install, good price and worked exactly as expected on a 900 mile round trip on the highway and through the Smokey Mountains of Kentucky. Highly recommend
