I wanted to get back into archery and perused what Amazon had. Well, I chose this one and it was a good choice. Very well made, very well finished and is very powerful. 65lb. draw. Which means after I get some practice in, I'll be able to use it for hunting. It comes in a draw string bag and could be carried while back packing. The only caveat that detracts from it slightly is that the bow rest broke with the first arrow and there are no sights. There are threaded mounting spaces for them but didn't come with sights. So I will probably have to take it to an archery shop to see what they can do.Anyway, I really like it, it's very well made and will last for years and years.

With how expensive bullets are becoming, I don't get to shoot as much as I used to. So I decided to turn to archery to fill that gap. I purchased 3 different levels of recurve bows, this being the middle pull, and cost of the three. After a few weeks of shooting it, here's what I have to offer:Pros: For the money, it's a great. I've since watched MANY Youtube videos that review this particular bow (mine is 50lb), and warn people NOT to buy it. I can confidently tell you that it is my favorite amount the 3 I bought. The other ones were a $50 one with metal arms, and a sinoart one (at 60lb pull) that looks great, but just isn't comfortable to shoot. This bow looks nice, and has holes if you want to add 3 sight indicators. It comes with a bow stringer tool, which is very useful once you learn how to use it. The handle is sleek and just feels right in my hand. I haven't added an extras, like string suppressors and anything, and it works just fine. Right out of the box (once I put it together), I was zeroed in pretty quickly, shooting 12 inch groupings at 15 yards. I'm no Robin Hood, but I can hit the target, and the arrows don't waggle too much as they go.Cons: There are other bows, I'm sure, that will shoot smoother, and now be as heavy. Youtube reviewers seems to love a Samik Sage, so I just bought one to compare it. But that bow is slightly more expensive that this one. I wish it at least came with a few arrows (as a package) but arrows are readily available on Amazon. Not sure how long the string will last, but when it breaks, I'll just buy another one.OVERALL: I'm not a hunter, or a professional archer - I saw Rambo and wanted a bow that I could take apart and shoot well. I wanna pretend that I'm a ninja in my backyard when I target shoot with my kids. This bow looks nice, feels nice, and doesn't embarrass me when I launch arrows at the target in front of the family. Eventually, when we go on vacation, it'll be nice to take it apart so it transports easily (and takes up a smaller footprint in the back). Hope this review helps you decide if it's the bow for you.Happy hunting ya'll!

Update 06-14-24 -Bough it again after i abused my previous purchase beyond use- can't beat 75 for the bow - stringer - string - and quiver. - its a bow kit at a very good price.I had a Tongtu Outdoor Sporting 40 lb i bought three months ago. The upper limb broke off at the riser. So i got this bow instead. The limbs are are straight and there are string channels at both inner limb tips for the string to reline into, nice touch. The riser and limbs have a even black mat finish. Good look. Its pre-drilled for the standard add ones, sights and arrow rest,The arrow rest attachment hole was a little ruff. I needed to insert the rest attachment bolt all the way through the riser from the inside to finish tapping the hole all the way through the riser so I could bolt the rest onto the riser from the outside. Other than the limbs fit evenly and securely.I installed a sight and a after market Wisker. It is a very comfortable bow for me to hold and shoot. Its a very light and well balanced recurve. It put 60 arrows on whatever spot my eyes are focused on.Now if it doesn't break on me my archery will be very happy indeed . It just an excellent feeling and shooting bow.The limb broke because I left it strung for several months- Take the string off after use. It will last a lot longer that way.

Very nice for the price, and shoots very well. The bow has reasonably good quality parts and good workmanship, although it could have been better. From the pictures, I was expecting it to come with a stringing aid, but it did not. A rudimentary bag to keep the disassembled bow (that can double as a quiver maybe) was included though. The riser is identical with the one from Mandarin Duck Phantom, but in this case the limbs have a padding that partly dampens the vibrations and make this bow less noisy.

I got an amazing deal on this one with a $10 discount promo which is the reason I purchased it. I'm really enjoying this bow and it works very well. For those who are complaining about no manual, it's in the gallery of this listing. Those who are familiar with takedown recurves shouldn't need the manual and already know how to set one up.# Pros- Take down works great.- Great price for a very well made bow.- Standard tapped locations for sights, arrow rest, and front stabilizer. Some folks mentioned "no area to install a sight", either they changed the design and have added them since or those customers have no idea that it's there already.- Metal riser is well made and has rubber grips.- Limbs are built well and mine came all black without the logo.# Cons- None.# Would like to see- Include the print out manual from the listing gallery so customers don't complain about not getting a manual. This really isn't an issue for me since I already knew what to expect however it's a con for TopArchery since customers are going to troll and write negative reviews.- Include a bow stringer. Again, not an issue for me since I already have one.# Notes- I got the 50# and it's awesome. I think I like the 50# recurve better than my 55# compound. It's a toss up. Always take 2 bows on a hunting trip. The recurve is easy to restring so if by chance something like a broad head slices the string, it can easily be restrung. Great additional bow just in case the compound fails.- I might get the 40# since I really like this bow.- The 1x thick plastic washer that people have mentioned seems to not be used for this setup. Not sure why it's included. Based on the manual (gallery photo) it's not displayed in step 1.- I've attached photos of my setup.
