Works well, but people need to understand that negative and positive battery terminals are not the same size. It needs to go on the Negative terminal; it won't fit on the positive terminal.

Overall it does what it is supposed and works well, to so I’m happy. Unfortunately the bolt used to clamp the connector to the battery post is not fixed, it floats through holes. No problem there EXCEPT the bolt head is square, intended to be held static by a flat recess on the clamp body itself. Too bad the clamp is not manufactured with a large enough shoulder there so the bolt just spins. Now you need a wrench (in my case a 12mm) to grip the thin squared bolt head while tightening the nut side.Not a deal killer but it sure affects the ease of setup and ease of installation.

I keep a car stored in another state so I don’t need to rent one when I fly there. Rather than disconnecting the battery to prevent discharge, I added this switch. It makes connecting and disconnecting the battery fast and easy. Plus it will be much better for my wife to handle when she flies there without me. My only complaint was the bolts were not the standard 10mm size so I had to search for a proper SAE sized socket. Other than that I would have given it 5 stars.

This is simple and foolproof. I mounted this in a farm tractor as over time the battery would drain. Couldn't find the cause, I attributed it to 50 year old wiring. This little device saved me from unhooking the ground every time I use it. Simple and foolproof. The function is two plates separated by a nylon spacer and bushing. The threw bolt connects to the bottom plate and is insulated from the top by a bushing. The threaded knob connects the bolt to the top plate completing the circuit. Simple, effective.

Really a good value, I have a parasitic leak, so this quickdisconnect solves that issue.I mention that it is too long, it hits the airbox on one sideand something else on the other, so I had to keepfiddling with it to get it to fit. I don't see why theymade it so long, even my battery is of a largercapacity than recommended in the description.If the overall length was about 5/8'' 13+-mm, shorter,I think it would fit any standard battery post.By the way , the post opening can be stretchedto fit the positive side as well.--One major flaw beside being too long is how the'head' of the compression bolt does NOT nestleinto the area that is supposed to keep it fromspinning when you tighten the clamp ontothe battery post, I had to use a custom, thinpair of plyers to keep it from just spinningwhen tightening the nut, this should BE FIXEDby the manufacturer.

I made it work, but it’s not ready out of the box. Refer to the pic.You have to use four tools to install this. I don’t know why they didn’t stick with 10mm. It’s a no brainer.- 10mm nut in battery terminal- 12mm bolt on product- 13mm nut on product- square head bolt on product.The square head bolt saddles into a knurl to keep it from spinning, but the metal the product is made of is very soft. When you tighten it, the bolt head just pushes right through, so you need pliers or another wrench to keep it still. The washer provided is too small. I used my own.

I have Cherokee xj model 2000 and I am not using it in daily basis, this disconnect switch is very easy to install and the mechanism is very simple.Note : insure your battery terminals fit this product . and the location of the negative pole has a space also.

Purchased this for when the vehicle is not being driven or used for extended periods of time so the battery won't drain from sitting long periods.The install was pretty forward and easy, maybe 10 minutes at most. The only issue is the washer attached to the top of the battery post you connect the OEM cable to. The washer was a little small, and would not hold the battery terminal in place, so I opted for a slightly larger washer to ensure the terminal would not come loose.The plastic guide shim is a great idea, making it easy to disconnect / connect when needed.Overall, a quality product. I'd recommend
