Used in a drill press to drill through some 1.5x1.5x6" turning blocks I clamped together so it with cut half rounds out of each. This cut accurate, quick, clean & straight . Very happy with it's performance especially at the price it's a value for the money. The build quality is great, it's very sharp and easily drilled through the 6 inch depth

Works well, sharp and left clean holes through 2x material and through some old-growth 4x10 floor joists.Note: I don't consider this a "nail chewer" so take note when drilling to avoid and nails/screws if at all possible. Also note it is a 1/4 inch shank - not a negative per se, just an FYI. This will fit nearly all bit-extensions for more reach. I have some IRWIN versions in the 1-inch diameter size and this cuts as good or better. If you plan on drilling holes and you don't want to worry about the occasional nail or two in the way, I'd recommend getting a beefier version with the 7/16th's shank.Overall this worked great, very pleased!

This has been a good bit for me. It’s strong and rips through what I needed it to. Not much else to say, but it does what it’s supposed to do.

Very sharp, useful auger bit. I have all kinds of auger bits from the old Irwins with the bit brace and the newer Irwin speedbor. These seems to be sharper, cut faster, and discharge chips better than my Irwin brand Speedbor bits.

Tree stump removal can be done in many ways, but most of them are either costly or not practical for homeowners. We've all thought, "If I do this myself, I can save on labor and put that money towards something else." But then comes the question—do I have the right tools? And if I need to buy them, is it worth the investment? If you plan on tackling multiple stumps or don’t mind using power tools, investing in the right equipment is a good idea. This drill bit is definitely the right tool for the job. After looking at a few options, I decided to try this one and am pleased with the results. It cut through the tree stumps with ease. Tree stumps can really put your tools to the test, but this bit handled it well, making the job much easier and more efficient. It’s built to last and get the job done without causing unnecessary strain on your equipment. If you're doing a serious project, this is a solid choice.

It works ok. Not sure how well it will stay sharp over time. Feels a little on the light side for a bit of this size

I got this to drill a few holes for running ethernet cable, not thinking I would need a longer bit. This one will work for places where you do not need a flex bit, but if you need a hole in a tight spot, it may be better to get a 36 inch bit (or longer), just be careful so that you dont punch through somewhere you do not want to, like the other side of a wall. This bit does work great for other uses, and it appears to be well made, just not long enough for my needs.
