I have 8 stumps I am trying to get rid of. Regular wood drill bits wouldn't work. As soon as I got this, I started drilling, and was done within 45 min. I don't write many reviews with all the stuff I buy on Amazon, but this thing is impressive. you have to use a good electric drill, clean and spray the bit with lube after every hole. I have more stumps, and am looking forward to getting rid of them thanks to this drill bit!!!!!!

This is faster than a spade bit but more expensive. It was worth it for my project.

Needed one of these bits so I could put in carriage bolts into a butcher block. This auger bolt did great and made awesome holes very very easily. Highly recommend!

I needed this one size for a particular project. The hole was surprisingly clean. It worked so well I will be buying the whole set. Make sure you hold on to your drill, because when this bit bites the wood, it bites hard and can twist the drill out of your hand.

I drill a good few holes a week in doors while installing locksets. These bits make my life a lot easier. Very sharp right out of the package and easily hand sharpened if needed. Cuts a precise hole in even hardwoods. The occasional brad nail does not bother it, eats right through them.

These drills are excellent for drilling old, hard wood like oak. Makes plumbing and electrical jobs a breeze. The drill bit allows you to start the hold crooked then straighten up as you drill into the wood, so it’s good for tight spaces. No pressure needed at all, sharp as heck, no clog.
