I upgraded to this TOMLOV and it was the best decision I've made. It has a lot of features that my old one didn't have and is easer to use.

There's no Denying this TomLov TM4k Max Auto Focus is the best Microscope on the Market. Being a Coin collector and looking for Errors this Scope shows me Everything. The Picture and quality can't be beat! I like that arm swings and you can move around the Scope without touching the item your looking at and the remote control allows me to zoom in on everything. If your long time coin collector or work on circuit boards you won't regret spending the money on this Scope.

The digital microscope with this type of arm is great! The resolution is great, and the adjustable intensity ring light is very helpful. You can balance the intensity of the ring light with the built in light to achieve a perfect view. The various image adjustments and quality monitor make it easy to see the subject and take quality video or still images. The rack and pinion adjustment had a little too much slack in the gearing (gear lash) and the arm could offer a little more resistance to movement. I tried tightening the middle arm screws, but this didn't help. The large steel base is heavy enough to make the unit very stable. I use it for inspection of knife blade edges during the sharpening process. This definitely makes a difference in the sharpening process. Thanks for a great product!

I purchased this as an upgrade from a DM9. I loved Tomlov products so much that I bought a DM5 for my grandson. He took it to school and everybody loved it.On to the TM4K. It did not disappoint. It was easy to use out of the box with minimal setup.Some of the nicest features:- The flexible stand allows you to set your object in place and the have the flexibility to move the microscope around and not have to worry about centering the object- The extended post allows you to get close to the image (in my case coins) and then fine tune the view with the adjustable knob- The zoom-in is great to where I can see tiny imperfections in the coin, great for checking for errors.- There is an 8X digital zoom that allows you to zoom in even closer. This worked great by allowing me to basically put the lens right up to the coin and then zoom in closer- There are tons of options to adjust the image before taking the image (the default settings work great for me, but for others they have options)- This came with the 64gb memory card already installed- I was able to easily connect this to my monitor for an even better view of the coin. The HDMI cable is included in the box.- I didnt think I would use the included remote very much, but I discovered it works great when reviewing the image on the external monitorThe built in Ring light is great, but it does require an external power supply (110v). This also takes videos, but I haven't tested that feature yet.I will update the review later with actual images from the microscope.Another big bonus is the customer service from Tomlov. They typically reply to emails within 24-48 hours.

Macro photography of polished agates is my goal. This camera photographs on the red side but is much more powerful.My files seem more than 30 per cent larger and auto focus is a blessing and blight. The ring light that I had a lot of hope for imparts a reflection on the image and I don't use it.
