These anchors are tough and sturdy, o went to both Lowe’s and Home Depot, both broke trying to Install them. Not sure how these home improvement stores survive, when you can’t find basic parts and DIY stuff. Completely unrelated but Dang I miss radio shack

I used these to put up the hanging rail for a wall-mounted closet system, heavy steel picture ledges, and a wall-mounted pantry cabinet. They are easy to install and strong. I am confident they will hold the weight of the items without ripping out of the drywall. The toggle is held in place in the wall separately from the screw, so the screw can be be removed without losing the toggle. Very nice feature!

Not sure if mine were old or I did something wrong but I lost 2 of mine when they broke and dropped down behind drywall. But the other 2 worked.Also- I was using as extra support for a super slim TV mount. Keep in mind you’ll probably have to use a drill bit to “sand” down and rub the tv mount hole SLIGHTLY bigger in order to get these thru that slim TV mount hole.Maybe that’s how I broke the first 2 when I tried forcing them thru TV mount hole too hard….The 2 I got to secure were backing up 2 other screws I got into studs so I should be fine.

I actually do like these. They’re so much more easier. I think the only downside is sometimes they just don’t work. Maybe it’s the screwdrivers honestly. but 8 out of 10 it always worked for me. Especially my closet my shelf finally fell because the amount of jeans I have. I made new holes and added these and they just feel more secure now until I have to eventually get like a wooden type of shelf.

I used four of these to install a heavy metal kitchen pan rack to a plaster wall with studs. One side aligned with a metal stud, so the anchor went inside the stud. The other side was just through plasterboard. It worked well on both sides, as the metal part that lays flat to the wall from the inside allows for a very strong connection. Extremely useful for attaching heavy things to plaster walls, into metal studs or otherwise. I think it's stronger than most other anchors. The heavy kitchen pan rack has been holding very sturdily.Installing them can be tricky. I experienced a problem where the bolt would refuse to go in after installing the anchor (despite working perfectly when testing outside the wall). Likely this was because dust went into the threads causing a jam. I ended up wasting a few anchors in this way. Eventually figured out a reliable way to make it work by using some WD40 before twisting in the bolt.

I purchased these for a second different application to install our wall mount for a 55" flat screen TV. Our home has metal studs and, definitely not located where we wanted our screen mounted. Four of these would hold the TV and heavy mount with no problem.I opted for 6 because the holes in the mount were there. One of the toggles broke off and slid inside the wall. No big deal, 5 of these worked great! Definitely a great product.

I wanted to mount my televisions on the walls of my new home, but exactly where I wanted to place them didn't always agree with stud placement within the walls. My brother told me about Toggler Snaptoggles and told me installation would be a breeze. I have 3/4" drywall and chose the size of Toggler meant to handle multiple times the weight of my TV and its hanging device because I knew that the greater the distance the TV was extended from the wall, it effectively weighed more than a static, wall hugging arrangement. I'd used a variety of anchors for drywall and masonry before, and have been pretty disappointed-I had my doubts and pricey electronics at stake. My brother made these sound like miracle products that a blindfolded animal without opposable thumbs could apply in short order. I'm very pleased to find that he wasn't exaggerating-much! My Togglers were, I think, repackaged from bulk and came quickly, but without instructions. I found the manufacturers website, read up on them and watched the tutorial videos. They were exceedingly easy to install and are really innovative! I'm a perfectionist fuss-pot type and it took many hours of calculations, measurements, and even making a template so that the televisions would rest exactly, "perfectly" where I wanted them. (This gal's got priorities, after all!) Once I drilled the holes in the drywall, I inserted the Togglers, leveled them, and snugged them in very tightly just like I saw in the video. Super easy and the first TV took about 20 minutes to hang....but I'm a little slow and deliberate. Second TV was up faster and they've been up for over a year and a half, with mild seismic activity in the first year (wall shaking/cracking construction nearby), wide variations in weather and temperature-both TV's are mounted on outside walls, and the TV mount bolts are as tight and secure as the day they went in! No wall damage, no problems and I've used these since to affix other heavy things to drywall in full confidence!I think the maker merged with another company but just search for the site using Toggler Snaptoggle and you will find a chart to help you calculate which size you need based on the weight of the item, the thickness of your drywall or wall construction, and how many bolts you will use. You'll find lots of helpful information, and if you're like me, your faith in wall anchors will be renewed!

I have never written a review for a product before but my experience with these compelled me to write my first. I purchased them to hang a tv where I only had one stud to work with. This product is the first result when searching for methods to accomplish this. And I'm not sure how. I followed the instructions and drilled the 1/2" holes required, insert the Toggler, zip them down and break off the strips. Then went I went to screw on the mount to the first Toggler, the metal "toggle" part broke away from the cheap plastic and fell down inside the wall. I thought, I may have just received a defective one and went to plan B for that hole. The second one appeared to work as intended. Then the third did the same as the first. By then I had it with this product and decided to go a different route. But the next disaster is trying to remove the product from the walls to replace them. There is no way to back them out once they are installed. You have to break the plastic flange to get them back out. Fortunately two were already broken during the install. Save yourself the effort and look for the EZ Toggle product found anywhere. They were much easier to use and worked in my already 1/2" drilled holes.
