I learned this as i have to repair and fit so many things.Provided you use a correctly sized drill bit you can drill anything not just as a cavity fixing. When you screw the screw in the fixing will expand into the hole making a secure fit. Useful when screws into plastic fail drill the hole push in the plug and fit the screw.

The thing I like the most about these is that the flange is much thinner than all the one I've used before. I won't use anything else.

I am a professional window covering installer. While these Alligator anchors work well for drywall, I prefer the Toggler SnapSkru anchors. I use the Alligator anchors for plaster walls, and they are easy to use and effective for heavy loads. They are also very effective for concrete, but there are much lower cost alternatives such as tubular anchors or "tapcon" screws. Toggler Alligator are my go-to for plaster walls.

These are hands down the best anchors I have used. For solid or hollow walls. After finding these I got rid of all my other anchors. They are the most versatile also. With just 3 sizes I an use any screw size from a #4 all the way to a #14

When used with the right bit size it holds my blinds in place quite well. Recommended. Works best with 1/4" drill size.

These are the best anchors for fastening things securely to the wall without having to make huge holes. The hole required for the AF5 in drywall is only 3/16" diameter, and can be formed with an awl if you choose. The Toggler work with a range of screw sizes from #4 to #10, and thus, you can choose the optimum screw diameter for the device you are mounting. It works with both sheet metal screws and wood screwsThe Toggler is not like the wimpy plastic wall anchors to which you are accustomed. The alligator shape causes them to split open enough to hold very securely. It can also be used in hard materials such as concrete.

Very impressed with this type of solid/hollow anchor when used in brick, concrete, and block constuction. Have used them extensively over 3 years and never experienced a failure in holding numerous attatchments. The small drilled hole size as well as the multiple sizes of screws that can be used are ideal for a wide variety of uses. While Tapcons can also hold solidly, most Tapcons eventually rust - even the stainless type - but 18-8 stainless #6, #8, and #10 screws can be used for truly long-lasting and stainless outdoor projects. Great product
