Requiring Allen wrenches to adjust the product is a mistake. I don't know if anyone tested this system out before bringing it to market, but it's not practical. I recommend anyone looking for one of these look for a more adjustable option. I still have it three stars because it seems to be decent quality otherwise. If you don't plan to adjust this much, it could be an acceptable purchase.

If you’re looking for a sleek, sturdy, and affordable microphone arm, this one delivers. I have always wanted a mic arm but all the ones I saw were either expensive or cheap and flimsy. This one is the right balance.Quick and easy to set up, attaching securely to your desk with a strong, well-padded metal clamp that won’t scratch surfaces. There are also screw holes in the bracket if you want to attach it that way.The three-section design makes it very adjustable and distributes weight more evenly across its joints. It’s smooth, with no exposed springs or parallel rods, so no worries about pinched fingers! The built-in cable management system is simple—just plastic clips to hold the cable. Works fine for me but I may add a camera, in which case I will probably have to add some zip ties. Clean and organized. The arm holds its position well, even with heavier microphones like my Samson. It was floppy until I tightened the joints, using the included Allen wrench. Once tight, it became easy to position and holds position wherever I leave it. Other arms use adjustment knobs, more convenient than the Allen wrench but I don't expect to adjust them again.Nice price. Whether you’re upgrading from a basic stand or looking for a reliable, no-fuss mic arm, this one offers excellent value. Just keep that Allen wrench handy, and you’ll be good to go!

This review is for TODI Mic Arm, Microphone Arm Rotatable with 2 Interfaces, Desk Mic Arm for Light Mics Bear 3LB, Mic Stand Boom Arm for Saving Space with Cable Management with 3/8'' 5/8'' Interface.I was looking for a mic stand to replace my previous one that wasn't working well for me. The pieces seem of good quality. It was easy to attach to the table and seems very sturdy. I was able to select the correct adapter to attach my Blue Yeti mic without trouble. The cable clips are just okay. Some of mine arrived bent and won't hold cables anymore. The real problem with this stand is that none of the hinges are able to be adjusted on the fly. Each arm piece is connected together with a metal oval. You can tighten and loosen each side to customize the angle, but that is the only way to change the angle. If you're someone that never touches your mic, this would be a great choice for you. But I am am someone that is always changing how I sit slightly, and needing to move the location of my mic.I also had a bit of trouble getting the right angle because the last piece, the one that connects to the mic itself, doesn't rotate more than 90 degrees, so if your final arm piece isn't perfectly horizontal, you can't get the mic perfectly vertical. Not a bad product, but doesn't work for how I want it.

Got this to replace my old microphone arm. This thing is sleek and sturdy. Definitely recommend for the price. Holds my Yeti x mic which is pretty heavy just had to tighten it all up with the included Allen wrench.

Attached to my desk quickly and easily. The arms are adjustable in tension for a solid hold. I enjoy the clips for the mic wire to keep it out of the way. Happy with this mic arm.

This mic stand looks modern and holds my mic up with no issues. My mic isn't heavy and I have no issues. You need to keep a hex tools / Allen wrench around to tighten/loosen the boom segments.

This is a very nice boom arm in several ways. Instead of only having 2 sections, like so many boom arms do, it has 3, which makes it more adjustable and probably stronger due to less weight being placed upon each joint...because there are more joints. Also, it doesn't have the exposed springs that so many other boom arms have. And, it feels safer because it doesn't have parallel rods like other boom arms do, which your fingers can get pinched in. The metal table clamp is nice and strong and it is a good size. It can be turned and adjusted to 2 different positions. The face of the part of the clamp that screws up and into the tabletop is well padded, as is the underside of the top of the clamp, which rests on the top side of the tabletop. There are convenient cable guides installed along the arm. My USB-B cable fits perfectly in them and the clamps really keep things orderly. While the straight rods of the lengths of this boom arm are metal, the joints between them are plastic. I wonder if that would end up being a weak link over time, but so far, it is functioning. The design of the joints is unique and quite flexible. However, the joints do not have any knobs on their bolts to hand tighten them or to adjust their angles. You must use the enclosed Allen wrench to adjust, tighten or loosen them. To me, that is a majorly inconvenient annoyance, and besides that, small tools like Allen wrenches easily get misplaced. Then what do you do? I suppose I'll somehow have to keep the Allen wrench tethered to the boom arm so that they never get separated. Also, when the boom arm arrived, the base of the arm was not tightly screwed into the metal table clamp. I had to use a very short, very small Phillips screwdriver that fits inside the clamp to tighten those screws up so that the base of the arm would not continue to loosely wobble on top of the table clamp. That was totally do-able, but they don't supply this tiny screwdriver, so you're going to have to buy one yourself, or already own one. Other than that, I like the adjustability and strength of this boom arm. I just really don't like that if I want to slightly tweak the angles of the arms, I have to use an Allen wrench to do so. However, after it's adjusted, it's great.
