Used these for moving our ten foot kayaks from camp site to lake. Makes it very easy to move. The tires became flat spotted while sitting in the sun on a 95 degree day. If you want them to stay round then protect from sun. This happened on our first use so lesson learned. I would rather have foam filled rubber tires and this would make the cart more durable to actual real life use. The frame was sturdy and strap held the kayak on the cart if you keep it in the middle of kayak.

I actually purchased one of these at a local store. Love it, so easy and simple to use. I use it to get my kayak to the lake landing which is a quarter mile away.I have 5 kayaks/paddle boards, so I ordered 2 sets of 2 carts (4) total carts. My order was not received, yet showed as delivered.I sent messages and it appeared I had not received any response. I requested the items be shipped or refunded. I just checked my Amazon account and it appears Amazon has authorized a refund.Today, days after sending messages to the seller, their responses are finally showing up. (They did respond in a timely fashion as they are timestamped, however, I did not receive the messages in my account until today!)It appears this particular item has a history of being incorrectly shipped, mainly in wrong quantities. If you order the 2 pack, you will receive 1. Not sure who’s fault that is, but either way the warehouse does respond to complaints, as well as Amazon. In the end I was taken care of.As far as the actual product, I’ve seen good and bad reviews. I myself love this cart. It has made getting to the lake and back home a breeze. Haven’t had any issues with the actual cart.

I have owned these for just about 2 years with little use. By little use I mean I've put less than a mile on them. I finally got a chance to put a pair to use this past weekend on what was going to be a 90 mile trip with a bunch of portages. One wheel on the set I brought failed within 3 miles of actual use (broken up over a few carries). The wheel separated from the hub, I continually re-seated the wheel only to have it pop off again. As you can see in the second photo, I had to put some holes in the rim and lash the wheel to the rim to get it to stay on. For this price I would expect the cart to last a little longer than a total of less than 5 miles. The frame appears to be a quality unit but not the wheels. I guess I will now go and buy some new wheels somewhere ... but not the same style!

I have 2 different style kayaks works well for one not well for the other.V hulled- doesn’t sit well in cart constantly tips to one side. Nearly impossible to tie off with out kayak slipping off cart. Struggling with this kayak all summer on cart until strap clip broke today. Done with using cart on V Hull.Flattter Hull kayak that is not built for speed rather fishing- the cart works like a dream! Fits in cart well. Tie strap supports & holds boat in place for15 minute walk to launch. 50/50 results for the 2 pack I bought as gift.Would appreciate it if seller contacted me to share how I could obtain another clip for broken kayak.I watched the utube vids.

I use this to haul around our 10' hybrid kayak, and our 10' sit-on-top and after a few weeks of practice have it working perfectly. When I first tried it I just put it near the back of the boat, tightened it as much as I could and tried to go - but naturally the boat slipped right out of it.The trick is to position these carts closer to the center of the boat and loop the long straps through something like a handle, or the seat - then back around the cart where the folding bars cross. If you do that, the boat no longer slips and I've had no problem taking it on paved road or through bumpy terrain.

Bought these for our 2 sit-on-top kayaks. They work like a dream! As long as you get them balanced evenly when you tie them down (probably best to use a better tie down, or even some bungee cords), you will be pleasantly surprised at how effortless it is to wheel your kayaks/ canoes/ small boats. We even pulled them up and down some fairly steep grass and ivy patches to get to the river with very few problems. Once to the water, they collapse flat and tie down on our kayaks perfectly. The smell that some people comment on is very similar to new tires or new sneakers, and was gone after a night outside. I couldn't imagine going back to the old ways of dragging and tripping and cursing our kayaks to the water.

I attached these to my kayaks with ratchet straps and they work flawlessly !! Saved my back on a quarter mile trek through the woods to the lake. Went easily over roots and rocks. I didn't want to leave them onshore, fearing theft - so I strapped them right to the top deck of the kayaks ! They laid flat like they weren't there ! Had a power boater come by and ask my wife why her kayak had wheels. She said they were training wheels. LOL !!! Awesome product. The wheels smell strong, but it doesn't bother us. Smells like fresh rubber. Big deal ! If that's the only complaint, I can live with it. Getting two for less than I'd pay for a name brand - I'm elated !!!

These aren't bad. I have 2 kayaks that have a dihedral hull, meaning they are raised in the middle and most of the floatation is pushed to the outer edges. Great for stability in the water, not great for staying on top of these carts. These would work better with a regular round hull bottom. I didn't ding them for that because most kayaks should stay on them just fine. The strap system, however, is garbage. You'll need to replace them with some cheap ratchet straps or something. I've had decent luck on flat surfaces just using bungee cords. A trail through the woods would require ratchet straps though. Overall a decent buy for $60 for 2 of them.
