I was real excited to use this kayak cart, tried it out for 20 ft before loading my kayak for a trip that morning, worked great. Hull bars were really stiff & hard to move but I thought, no biggie. It'll fold up, weight was kind of high for what I wanted but compaction factor made up for it. Loaded everything, got to the launch site, went to use it actually for first time, pin went up in the arm chamber rendering the product useless! Needless to say I drug my kayak to get to the water. Tried to upload pics but am unable too. Should have spent the money & went with a better quality cart.

The GOODIt could make it over decent terrain. I had to pick it up over rocks and big roots, expected. No issues. Tires held up. Folded up pretty small, to go into backpack to strap to paddle board. Easy to foldTHE BADThrow the strap away. When you want to TIGHEN something you do NOT want a STRETCHY!!!!!! portion on the strap. WTF is that. Throwing in trash and getting real strap. That will solve 1/2 the issues. It kept loosening up and the rig started skidding sideways. AALSO, need some areas to thread the tiedowns through so they can really be secure, rather than just trying to wrap them around the bottom with a 1" spread.Your little pop out pins SUCK. I put it through the ringer on the trail I took it on to the lake but still, I should not have one leg missing half the pin and another entirely missing. Unacceptable. Passed return date so will get some alternative clips to make it usable. Im so glad I made it back.BOTTOM LINE. At $40 it would be priced ok, knowing you need to add new "pins" and tie down strap. I would not buy again.

I purchased this product to walk a light SUP to the water from my home about 300 yards. Unfortunately, the kick stands while sturdy (I have the metal ones) only raise about 1/2” from the ground. When rolling this cart over flat terrain without any weeds or rocks it works great. However, running it through uneven lawn or even large weeds, or tiny brush to the river, the stands catch and pull the item right off the stand itself. In one trip I have to adjust and remount at least 7x. The kickstands need to be retractable and the wheels 2” larger to make this a perfect cart. I love the folding aspect of this cart. Light weight and folds super small.I’m a bit frustrated. I tried it without the kickstands and it makes it very difficult to mount.

The vendor reached out and advised that I was sent old stock.They provided me a satisfactory resolution. Excellent customer service. I bought this kayak cart because the description stated that it had the upgraded stainless steel kickstands. Well, it arrived with the cheap plastic ones. The cart is well built but one can tell that the plastic kickstands won't hold up. I'm waiting for a response from the seller or I will return.

Bought this kayak cart 6 months ago was finally able to use it since the weather broke 2nd time out the kickstand holes widened out on both sides, now it won't stand on it's own. I love the cart just wish it was the updated version with the aluminum kickstand. Too late for return but would love if they would send me the new style kickstand... updated to 5 stars after they sent me the new upgraded model with metal kickstand, great customer service

We've used this for a few weeks now and its held up fine. The kickstands do not get in the way and break if you make sure they stay forward.I've used this to carry both of my kayaks (one is 60lbs, the other is 50lbs) at the same time, stacked on one another, with all the associated gear to and from the launch and its held up just fine.. I've used it with and without the strap. without the strap i cart just one kayak and it doesn't slip unless i hit real uneven ground, with the strap it doesnt move at all, even when i double stack the kayaks. The strap is 'weird' with a stretchy section in it, that i honestly haven't taken the time to figure out how to use, but just strapping it around the whole thing works just fine for what I doThe big plus for me is that it fits perfectly folded up in my Old Town Loon dry storage area and/or behind my seat without issues at all.I don't see issues with longevity yet, too soon to tell, but it handles everything i need it to do just fine.

Updating the review. The manufacturer contacted us immediately and oferred a replacement. The new cart came today and we were able to open and close all the arms without any problems. Do far we are happy with the product.We’ll give more updates after we take the kayak out. We were very excited to try it, first impression was of a good, sturdy, reliable product. Very easy to open the arms, put it together, but when we wanted to fold it back, one of the pins fell inside the arm.So disapointed!!!we’ll return asap and keep looking for a diffrent product

Reviews looked good, the item looks good, unfortunately it will not work with my kayak--I failed to realize that the reviews were not all for the model version that i had ordered. Based on the design of this one, I will order one that had the ability to adjust the width of the brackets--I had thought this model did based on what I had read n reviews-but did not realize they were talking about a different model

The concept is good but the quality is lacking. The leg arms would not keep the base upright when pressure of the kayak was applied and on the third use the push button on one of the leg stands broke off.

I had a different set of folding wheels for my kayak but they rubbed the bottom when it rolled. I needed something higher with more clearance for the wheels. This rig works great. The kayak sits higher which makes it easier and more comfortable to pull. The wheels are hard but they have a little give so they go over rough terrain easily.The best part is how small they fold up. Fits perfectly in the back of my kayak so they’re out of the way and stored safely.For the price, they are a good value and they do everything I need them to do.Note that some reviews talk about the kickstands being cheap and break easily, but if you use the cart properly when you load the kayak or canoe, you won’t have any issues. I was concerned about it from the reviews I read but watch their videos and you will see proper use and how to load it. It would be nice if they were more robust but they work well as far as I am concerned. Just use it correctly and you will be fine.
