I ordered this, and then promptly returned it. I should have done better research beforehand. It seems that on certain makes of kayak, these scupper hole mounted carriers will crack the plastic and cause leaks. Many kayak makers do not recommend this style of carrier to be used on their products. Do your homework and check before ordering. I went with another style carrie and am super satisfied.

After receiving this item and using it properly on my $960 3 Waters Kayak that was brand new. The cart cracked my yak where the scupper holes were located on both ends of my Yak! 😔 I contacted supplier and they gave me the run around but I didn't back down and told them the BBB was getting involved and they finally gave me my refund back after pulling teeth. They need to know or they already know that these scupper hole carts crack yaks!!.....

Great cart for the price! Takes on Hobie Outback woth no issues and it can be adjusted to be used for almost any kayak!
