I have used Tiffen lens filters for many years. Their quality is unmatched. Never had a bad one. They protect my lenses as well as protect my images. I keep looking for excuses to buy more Tiffen filters and they are made in the USA. Can't beat that. You will love them too.

Works very well for me to eliminate reflections on water or glass and to render the sky more blue, less washed out.

Works exactly how it is shown in the YouTube . Only Darkens up the area being covered by sunlight creating the desired balance.

It is amazing to see it works. The item was shipped from abroad, but I was amazed too see how carefully it was packed and delivered. I have attached a comparative set of images. I liked it

Everything about this polarizer is Good. Nothing is exceptional, nevertheless it's good. The build quality is very nice. It threads on and off without any struggle (I consider my hands to be very average). It is thin and it is glass therefore don't expect to toss it into your bag after use without it scratching or getting beat up. I place mine back in the case it comes in each time after I'm done using it.FYI: This polarizer will not magically take your photos from "crap" to "Oh Snap!!". It very subtly adds some contrast to your skies when rotated to the proper position and very subtly reduces glare that appears on windows, water, and other reflective surfaces. The overall contrast and saturation boost are very delicate, yet noticeable.I'm an architectural photographer and use this filter only when I'm shooting exteriors. Other applications may yield different results.

Excellent circular polariser, even better than Hoya, it's worth the money definately, the contrast and colours are boosted and reflections are reduced by a lot..

I bought for a trip to the desert southwest (New Mexico) and it does wonders to clear up haze and also brings down the light enough that you can safely use fill flash. On our photo tour, our guide explained that the sky wasn't as blue as usual due to no fewer than three forest fires currently burning in the state. Fortunately this filter helped to remove a lot of the haze and I've never taken better high-sunlight desert shots than this.I didn't realize how much the filter helped until I looked at my girlfriend's shots, which were taken without such a filter. Many had blown-out highlights, and I noticed the same on my shots taken on the day I went without the filter. The only problem I experienced was due to laziness: I simply put it on over my existing UV filter, which caused slight vignetting on some of my wider-angle shots. But some slight cropping took care of that. All in all I can't recommend this filter enough.

I have had many polarizers over the years. I have used filters such as this for over 25 years. I like the Tiffen as it is not too dark for most uses. I keep it on for almost every shot (unless it is night time or quite dark) to protect my lenses and for it's mild polarizing effect. (I take 1000s of images on a shoot, mostly landscape) Some other brands are too dark to do this. The dark ones many times look too polarized, and post processing has to take much of this out anyway. I do have a few of these and use them occasionally. I have found that an image that is properly balanced that does not need too much darkening or lightening post processing is much better, I have a Hoya but it is always falling apart (and way too dark). I have Heliopan 77mm Circular Polarizer Lens Filters and like the quality, but again they are too dark to keep on all the time. The Heliopan is the one I keep for special uses when I want more polarizing effects than I get with the Tiffen. The Tiffen polarizers I have had only were replaced when they became too scratched for use, broken from being dropped or run into things, or lost over board in my boat. As I said a couple of Hoya ones were replaced because they fell apart. I use a Canon 5D with all high end L series lenses (most costing well over $1000.00) and have sold over 1300 framed GiClees ($300-$800 each). I feel that this filter does not compromise the quality of my images. So in review. I don't want an unnatural appearance due to my filters. I do want the pleasing effects I can achieve with the Tiffen filter. I have never had a problem with any I had purchased, so recommend them to others. And I will continue to use them myself.
