They look fantastic and we cannot wait to use them for our DnD campaign. The quality is great and the value for 6 scenes is worth the expenditure in my opinion. We are going to be doing a Zelda-esque campaign so need the terrain variety to make Hyrule really pop.

This kit is amazing! It comes with great quality maps that are the perfect size. They are easy to write on and erase. Very durable. Love that it comes with markers, an eraser, support rods, and a set of dice! Great variety of maps and easy to transport. Amazing price for the quality too!

Very sturdy material and easy to use. Can be used with permanent marker and wiped off with rubbing alcohol. Hosted my very first DM campaign and used these area maps for great visual aid and relative distances for the player characters. They have a decent amount of detail. Definitely would recommend their use.

A great product. Well packaged and presented. The dice are a little lightweight so the balance feels off but we've all got more don't we.The mats are great, well sized, with heavy grid lines making gameplay easier. The beach seems a little more thematic than the rest, like it belongs to a specific adventure while the others are more generic. So it stands out a lot, I also wish I could get mats like this for the published adventures.Honestly, a great product that's well worth the money for yourself or as a gift to the aspiring GM.

Worthy of a positive review. I bought these mats because of their large size and 6 types of terrain they covered, but also I was willing to try them because of the extra plastic edge to help keep the mat flat right out of the tube. I was very happy that this worked well and without fuss and all our miniatures were firmly planted even rolling the dice on the mat. Quite simply, the whole mat remained flat as our table, nothing shifting and no irregular dice bounce back. We were able to draw on the mat adding any special features of the landscape and erase easily what changed with the included markers and eraser. As DM, I also used my own high quality erasable markers and really did not notice any difference at all from the mapper using the included markers. Without a doubt, I will be buying the other 6 terrains as well as soon as I have a campaign that needs them.

I recently acquired the TIDYBOSS Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set, which includes three double-sided 24x36 game grid mats, and unfortunately, my experience with this product was less than satisfactory. Here's why I wouldn't recommend it:Flimsy Material: The quality of the game grid mats is disappointing. They are made of thin and flimsy material that feels cheap and easily creases. The mats lack durability and are prone to tearing, especially with regular use and transportation to different gaming sessions.Poor Print Quality: The print quality of the grid mats is subpar. The lines and markings on the grids are often faint and inconsistent, making it difficult to distinguish between squares and accurately track movements during gameplay. The lack of clarity detracts from the overall gaming experience and can lead to confusion among players.Limited Durability: Despite being marketed as starter set essentials, these grid mats lack the durability needed for long-term use. After just a few uses, I noticed signs of wear and tear, including fraying edges and fading prints. The mats do not hold up well over time and require frequent replacement, making them a poor investment in the long run.Inadequate Size: While the dimensions of the grid mats are advertised as 24x36 inches, they feel inadequate for accommodating larger gaming setups or multiple players. The limited size restricts creativity and flexibility in designing game scenarios, often requiring players to make compromises or adjustments during gameplay.Lack of Versatility: Despite offering double-sided options, the grid mats lack versatility in terms of design and layout. The grids are generic and uninspiring, lacking the thematic elements and customization options that enhance immersion and engagement in tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons.Overpriced for Quality: Considering the poor quality and limited functionality of the TIDYBOSS Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set, the price point is unjustifiably high. There are more affordable alternatives on the market that offer better quality and performance, making this starter set an unwise investment for aspiring dungeon masters and players.In conclusion, the TIDYBOSS Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set, featuring three double-sided 24x36 game grid mats, fails to meet expectations in terms of material quality, print clarity, durability, size adequacy, versatility, and value for money. I would not recommend this starter set to anyone seeking reliable and immersive gaming accessories for their Dungeons and Dragons adventures.

These maps are great for dungeons and dragons, good grid sizes, and the different backgrounds are nice options depending on the terrain of the game setting

I have only used them once so far and everyone loved them!!Pros: The slide rails definitely make a difference. We were able to start using a mat as soon as we put the rails on (1-2 mins). The battle mats look amazing, they are double sided so you get 6 terrains (2'x3'). The mats seem fairly durable...however, only time will tell. They are dry erase and come with 4 dry erase markers, 1 eraser and 6 dice. To top this off it all fits in a travel tube that is included.Cons: The tape used to keep the tub closed was extremely strong causing me to tear the graphics on the travel tub when I was opening it. This isn't a big deal but the tub looks alot better with the graphics. The battle mats are slightly difficult to take out of the travel tub. Even now it makes me nervous pulling them out. I can't help but to feel like I might tear or make a big crease in them. You have to be careful when putting the rails on. If you are not the edges on the mats will definitely show wear with just a few uses of the rails.Bottom line: I think these battle mats are awesome!!! They are definitely a great addition to our campaign. I would definitely be willing to reccomend them to a friend.

Wow. These things are *awesome*. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, because I bought one mat for slightly less than these and it wasn't even textured, just a plain tan color with a grid. These are gorgeous. Six different backdrops for forest, caves, interior, ice, sand, and beach scenes. Combine that with scatter terrain and you can make pretty much any fantasy scene. My group loved playing on them, it really helps with immersion, especially when you get some music and/or ambient sound tracks going with. Would absolutely recommend for any DM's or GM's out there looking to spice up their grid. Material is smooth and even though it came with markers, I used my set of markers I already had and it goes on easily, and wipes off easily with water (but not so easy that players smear or smudge lines when moving things around). To top things off, mine came with a set of standard tabletop dice as well! Always nice to have an extra set of dice on hand. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
