You can tell when you get something of quality—when the manufacturer actually cares about their product. This does not have edge-sewn reinforced seams, but it DOES come with its own carrying bag and a cardboard roll inset that makes it super-easy to roll back up and store instantly.So, when I opened the Amazon box, the product box came in an Amazon box, so that was nicely protected. And then inside that box was a sealed plastic bag that contained the nylon carrying case that contained another sealed plastic bag that contained the "playmat"," which was wrapped around the cardboard core.I almost tossed the core with the extra plastic bags, but I realized how much easier it is to keep it an roll the mat around the core and slide it into the bag. This thing is HUGE. I read the dimensions when I bought it but tbh I wasn't really paying attention. yeah, yeah, it was perfect for what I needed: video shoots of playing card techniques. This is large enough for four players to play cards, or dominoes, dice, or whatever. The blue is a very nice deep color as well.it is medium-weight neoprene. If you don't abuse it, it should last for decades. I am sold on this—so much so I had to write something. Because too often we get mediocre crap. I think you will be happy with this. It's not "extra heavy duty" (which would be nice, but runs over twice the cost) and it is certainly not some cheesy flimsy flim-flam. The surface is smooth and scar-free, and of course the rubber bottom is nice and grippy. Anyway, that's me gushing over this. Now if I could just find a table that is sturdy, portable, and affordable to match this.

This mat is perfect, size, non slip for Mahj and dominoes. Best is that is was shipped rolled around a stiff carboard tube, so it has no wrinkles or creases. The carrying case with a handle is a convenient way to store and transport it. The mat also reduces the noise level when mixing tiles or dominoes.

I love this mat. Its smooth/silky without being slippery and has a rubber-type backing so it doesn't sip. It was easy and enjoyable to play cards using the mat. My friends loved it too.

I wanted a larger mah jong cover for my table and found this one. It's okay, but not as thick as the smaller one (32") that I had. Also, it catches little specks of debris, so I have to gently brush it after a game. But the larger size makes up for these minor distractions,. It is perfect for mixing the tiles before each game - easy and quiet.

This thing is amazing. Much nicer than ones I’ve seen in the game store for $90-120. It’s the same Teflon material used for MTG mats. Very nice quality and perfect for card/board games.I’m seriously thinking about purchasing a second one to have on hand when this one gets beat up in 5 years or so. I’m a pretty hardcore board game collector and this makes a world of difference.No smell. Soft and nice to pet - hey I’m on the spectrum and I’ll pet soft things if I want! No weird spots or fraying.Big enough for Evolution, Ticket to Ride, etc. Would also be super for DND. Dont hesitate - it’s fantastic.

The size is great for my table. It wasnt overly smelly from the package, rolled out evenly and had a slight curl at the end from being rolled up. The curl came out after a few days and some weight.Feels like a large mouse pad. Not too thick maybe 2.5-3mm. There is enough cushion to easily pick a card up compared to straight off the table. I was irritated that I couldn’t grab cards without severely pinching the sides and bending/marring the edges. Now they just slide right into my fingers without any effort. There is plenty of space for several people to play on the mat and I look forward to using it in the future. Supplied carrying bag works well to store and tote around.The color is a pleasant blue that isn’t too bright and works well to show off the games I am playing. No advertising printed on surface. No sewed edges so I’ll have to see if it holds up to repeat use with wear.Overall a great product. Really enhances your gameplay experience. I don’t know how I lived without this!
