If you get this calculator do not use the batteries it comes with. I go it and 5 months later they were corroded and I didn’t even use it that much… it said that my battery was low and I had just put the batteries in not long ago and I hadn’t used it much so I opened the back of it… I was able to get all the corrosion out of it and I bought brand new batteries to put in it. All I’m saying is this calulator is way too expensive to be messed up by corrosion in such a little amount of time so just be aware and don’t use th batteries it comes with but other than that part it functions well.

The TI-83+ graphic calculator is a great calculator with nice graphic functionality. It is appropriate for high school students and college students. The menus are easy to navigate and the manual has good step by step instructions of how to access the various functions. This calculator is the one I recommend for my high school math students to purchase as it serves as a great graphic calculator through all high school algebra, geometry, trig, and pre-calculus classes.
