I like how fast the shipping was, and there were minor scratches, but I really doesnt matter when you just need it for a class and couldnt afford a new one. Works really great!

I bought 6his for my teen. She needed a Calculator for Algebra II. She said it was easy to use and identical to the loaner she was lent at school.

I was very worried when this showed up because the calculator package was in horrible shape (the shipping packaging was fine). The calculator works fine and doesn’t appear to have sustained any damage which was shocking based on the condition it cane in. It definitely hadn’t been taken proper care of before it was shipped.

The calculator was advertised as used, and I could tell it was. One of the buttons was a bit harder to push, but it did all work. I could have paid a lot more for a new one, but that wouldn't have helped me do any better in class. It functioned fully in all the ways that are important. Bottom line is if you need one to get through class and probably won't use it again then save the money and get a quality used one like this.

1. A must for high school students.2. If you are in High School, do not get the TI-92 or TI-89, as they are too complicated to use for high school level and may even be banned in standard tests. You can think of buying TI-92 or TI-89, if you are a collage student.3. It covers algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus.4. Another good feature is that it is upgradable, so the need for a new calculator doesn't arise, every few years.

When I received the product I realized that it wouldn't turn on even with new batteries. It seemed to have some battery corrosion from the previous owner. However, when my mom tried it worked. So I decided to get it. Then about 2 weeks later, when I was taking a math test, 3 of the number buttons weren't working. I was so frustrated! At least it was easy to return and I was refunded( not including shipping it back). I really wish I would have just went to Walmart to begin with. I could have saved a lot of time and hassle.

Unless you're in a very high level college math, this graphing calculator will be able to handle just about anything you can throw at it. For any high schooler or non-math major, this is all you need. It's easy to use, durable, and has a fantastic battery life. It can't do any crazy simulations (like the TI-89), but most classes won't allow calculators that do things like that anyway.Between this and the TI-84, get this. Its cheaper and it will have everything you need, I promise.

The calculator looks brand new, it even came with batteries, what a bargain and the T-83 is much easier and a better screen that the newer T-89, I don't know about the graphing differences, but the T-83 does everything else I need and it is easy enough to figure out. I was really happy with the quality for price and how fast it shipped, so glad I bought used! older is sometimes better.
