Works great and does it's job . It's a little flimsy but doesn't effect the way it works .

So my daughter's BFF has to spend hours every weekend doing fluids. This was keeping her from visiting until my daughter asked, “Why can't she do them here?” So we got this IV pole. All it is to do is hold a bag of IV fluids once a month or so. It doesn't have to get wheeled around. It doesn't have to perform constantly. Just long enough to get the job done. For our purposes, it is adequate. But it could definitely be sturdier.

I needed a pole to support my Dinamap. This turned out to be a good choice. It was easy to put together but I used a ratchet instead of the little wrench they sent with it. It made putting it together much easier.I think it would be better if there was a screw to secure the tray to the pole. The tray is not really heavy duty but roughly $30 what can you expect. It is really more of a light duty pole. It would never survive in a hospital or long term care setting.

The first IV pole that arrived had 2 broken wheels and a broken bag hook. Called Amazon and we were reimbursed to buy another pole of the same type. This one arrived with a shorter main pole so to push it with the handle, you would have to bend over. The main pole would also not stay attached to the wheel base. If that wasn’t enough, when we attached the feeding tube pump and IV bags, it tips over. Look for something more sturdy and better made.

Not that hard to install but as you can see upon opening the box you can see the wheels are dinged up and this looks like this was used and returned and repackaged.I don’t have time to return and get a new one so will deal with the one I have.
