I have to get infusions twice a week and my home health had given me one of those dinky rink poles that would tip over with barely any movement. At first I didn’t think spending the amount of money on this IV pole was worth it but it’s been awesome! I have freedom to move around and I like it has such a sturdy base and wheel locks. I wish the top bar didn’t move so much but it doesn’t seem to affect anything. I’d 100% recommend this

This IV pole is well made and super sturdy.Assembly was fairly typical except... all four of the pole pieces have the same "A" label on them.The unit is adjustable from about 4 to 7 feet high. The hooks are held securely to the pole and work great.With the assembled pole being very sturdy, my only issue is using plastic for the base. Repeatedly cleaning liquid biohazards on this plastic could become problematic, especially over the course of time where nicks in the plastic could become harbingers of bacteria. One could periodically wrap a disposable plastic bag or, perhaps aluminum foil, to make cleaning easier. The plastic itself is very dense and provides excellent support. I can see this unit in people's homes or long-term facilities where there isn't as much activity compared to a hospital setting where patients are constantly rotating.If the base were changed to metal, this item would be a Solid 5-star product.

I am mixed regarding this IV pole. Overall, I am somewhat disappointed. It is rated to hold only 22 lbs., which is not really adequate in some situations. Also, it is not entirely made of metal. The base is plastic. Aside from not being hygienic, it is also probably a tip hazard.It was also fairly fairly frustrating to put together. I do not usually have problems with this kind of thing, so it was doubly headache inducing.I‘m kind of afraid to use it, frankly.

The plastic base does not weigh enough to keep this thing as sturdy as it needs to be. The pole also slides down unexpectedly. I think if they improve the design with a heavier bass and a better locking mechanism for the pole it would be a good item.

This IV pole is made of first-rate material. With safety in mind, it is easy to push to move around and is sturdy. The 5 casters (star pattern) prevents it from toppling over and it has lockable wheels so it won’t budge while in use. The 4 ram’s horn hooks allow for other medical supplies to be added like a stethoscope and a blood pressure monitor so that they’re all in one place. Height adjustments are easy to make with this one. My only criticism is that the included instructions were not user-friendly (the labels on parts were confusing).

I got this to hang things when they're drying, like painted frames and varnished wood. I also use it for hanging metal gun parts as I'm working on them.The set was easy to assemble, and so far hasn't shown any tendency to tip. I'm not too keen on the plastic base, but it seems to be doing fine. Unlike some of the reviewers who are in the medical profession, I don't have to worry about disinfecting.My one complaint, and it doesn't effect the pole's function, is the stickers that they use to label the parts. The blasted things won't come off, and they tear and leave paper and glue residue. this is purely cosmetic, but it's annoying.

I was looking like crazy for a tall stand from which I could suspend my plant growing lights. Most grow lights and stands out there cater to tiny house plants, whereas the plants I brought into the garage for the winter are some 3-6 feet tall! Plants need life support too! And this pole is a plant-life saver!I hang two grow lights, at different heights, from this pole, to reach plants of different heights. Works like a charm.Assembly of the pole was pretty easy, but it would have helped if the several pole segments marked 'A' had been marked as A1...A2...A3...etc. Also, the sticker glue is too adhesive - they don't come off without leaving residue. Since our pole will be in a garage, we didn't care, so it's just an FYI to others.The pole is solidly built and glides easily on its 5 wheels. No complaints there.
