Idk what kinda magic they put in this shirt, but Cooper LOVES it. Obviously, he still takes his daily anxiety medications but when he has this fort on he feels so much more confident. Noises are his big triggers and we’re live next to a very busy highway, unfortunately. We use this shirt for potty walks, trips to the vet, and if we hear the garbage truck outside. It stops his shakiness much faster, in conjunction with his medications. He actually gets very sad and whines a little if we take it off him, but he can’t wear it 24/7!The quality of the material is very durable. It’s relatively inexpensive. Cooper is a tall dog, around 60lb and deep chested. I believe we got a large and it fit him comfortably.I did not believe in the compression therapy of these shirts until I saw it work with my own eyes and all I can say now are great things.

My Jack Russell x would get very anxious (stressed and shaking) with thunder storms, when insects were in the house, and when having to go to the vet. Before trying anti-anxiety medication suggested by one of the vets, I thought I would try the thundershirt. It’s worked brilliantly. When she gets anxious, the shirt goes on and it calms her right down. She is no longer frightened going to the vets and, instead of becoming reactive (growling and trying to bite the vet), she is now happy to go to her appointments and the vet can give her her monthly injections without any reactive behaviour. In the vets words, they are now ‘BFF’s’! Thoroughly recommend. It may depend on the dog, but it’s worth a try before having to resort to medication.

we have been using it for over a year now, here are my thoughts.1. it looks adorable. - i can’t stop gushing over how handsome it makes our boy look haha. i know it’s silly but we think he looks all buff and handsome with it.2. it mostly works. - is it the ultimate one all be all solution for a dogs anxiety issues. not necessarily. it has certainly helped out extremely anxious lab. in particular, we have noticed his body language has become a little more relaxed during rainy days ans storms. we’ve also tried it on for fireworks and seems to help him feel a little more secure. HOWEVER, keep in mind this is a tool, not a solution. while yes, if introduced properly, gradually, with positive reinforcement and positive associations it can help ease your dogs symptoms. BUT you will still need to keep working on desensitizing your dog to storms and fireworks. (if you don’t know what that means, look it up in yt, there are great training videos there)so please, know this is just one more tool in your tool box, and you will need to use it adequately to see results.honestly, at this point my boy loves it, he enjoys wearing it around and will fall asleep as soon as i put it on. so even if it didn’t work perfectly for storm anxiety it has helped him get better quality and longer sleep bc of how comfortable and calm he feels, so it’s a win either way.3. it is made of great durable fabric. - the material feels sturdy and durable. we wash it about once a month during winter to make sure it’s clean and it has held up just fine. i like how easy to put on and adjustable it is. it does not get stuck or snag on the dogs fur (at least not for short haired shedding breeds like labradors).

My 13 year old dog was never afraid of thunderstorms until we moved into our new house and the neighbors surrounding us like to frequently shoot off fireworks. Not just during the 4th of July. ALL year. My dog had never encountered fireworks before and thought we were under attack. And then with the loud noise and the flash of the fireworks, she learned to associate thunderstorms - with those loud noises and flashes of lightning -- with absolute terror. Thanks, Neighbors!!!To give you an idea of how my dog reacts to storms, here's what happens in our household during every single thunderstorm (and fireworks): When she hears the first bang or rumble, my dog immediately wants to sit in my lap (no matter what I'm trying to do) and she pushes herself right up against me so tightly that it's uncomfortable to breathe - for both of us. It's like she's trying to push herself under your skin for protection. She shakes so badly that her teeth chatter loudly. She pants loudly, her breathing becomes very rapid and she is very restless - sometimes running into the bathroom (the only room in the house without windows) and hides between the tub and the toilet - only to run back out after a minute to find me to push up against again. My dog becomes so filled with terror that I'm afraid she will have a heart attack. She is 13 years old and that's always at the back of my mind. I feel so bad for her. If the thunderstorm hits while we're sleeping at night, then I have to get up and try to sleep on the couch (so the dog doesn't wake my husband when she's shaking the bed & panting so loudly). No one sleeps in our house during the entire storm's duration.I had to find some other way to try and help her. I came across this product while searching for some type of solution. The skeptic in me said "There might be a very slim chance this will help my dog's storm anxiety" and I'm probably wasting money buying this but there were so many positive reviews. Even through the thunder claps, she stayed there on the floor lying down. Meanwhile, my husband had come into the room and noticed that I had bought some sort of shirt for her and she was wearing it. I said in a low voice, look who's not freaking out over the storm and nodded at my dog. He looked confused - just like the dog! Then he smiled and said "Huh?!! That thing must work." We just couldn't believe it. It was like she was an entirely different dog and that made me smile. She was at peace and felt comforted. I want to hug whoever invented this product. Absolutely life-changing. This Thundershirt was worth way more than I paid for it - it truly is absolutely priceless. It has brought my dog peace of mind and peace to our entire household during Thunderstorms - or fireworks. I no longer have to sleep on the couch - I can stay in bed! And everyone, including my dog is now relaxed during storms and getting rest. If there's a thunderstorm in the weather forecast during the night, before I go to bed, I just put the Thundershirt on my dog before she goes to sleep. The Thundershirt really is like a big hug to her, making her feel protected. Thank you so much, Thundershirt!! Ich war am Anfang extrem skeptisch, weil ich mir nicht vorstellen konnte, das ein Shirt meinen Hund beruhigen soll. Ich habe schon so viel Geld für meinen Zwerg ausgegeben, dass es darauf auch nicht mehr angekommen wäre. Aber ich bin positiv überrascht wurden. Mein Chihuahua ist total gelassen gegenüber anderen Hunden (was ohne das Shirt immer wie Russisch-Roulette war). Mein Hund ist tiefenentspannt und total ausgeglichen. Sie bellt nur noch selten... Mittlerweile klappt es sogar schon ohne das Shirt. Ich kann es jeden nur empfehlen. Wirklich Top !!!!
