My dog's a nutty husky so maybe I need something stronger for her breed. I do get about an hour of somewhat relaxed-ish response from a three-piece dose. They don't upset her stomach and she takes them readily. I may up her dose to four pieces if needed and see what reaction I get.

These are ok. My dog was very hesitant to even try them at first. It took a lot of convincing, which is rare for my dog, maybe the smell? Maybe, he's not usually a picky eater whether it's food or treats. Once he finally tried it, he ate it, but mostly because I really encouraged him. He is a 60-lb boxer-pit mix and will eat pretty much anything that is edible. If i give him a choice between this and another treat, he will go for the other treat. That being said, once he did eat it, it seemed to work. He did calm down quite a bit within 20 mins and off he went to take a long nap. Which is great since he has awful separation anxiety. He was abandoned by previous owner and was found emaciated and on the brink of death. He is now spoiled and living his best life but still has separation anxiety. These did seem to help a bit with that. He still wasn't happy I had to leave for work but he went in his kennel and laid down rather than go in his kennel and heave and whine so that's definitely a plus. 4 stars because i really have to encourage Bob (my dog) to eat these as opposed to another brand that works amazingly well that he gobbles up in seconds without issues, but these still seem to help him, so definitely worth a try. I don't leave the bag open but when i did open it, i didn't notice a strong or yucky smell to these so that's a plus, to me, I'm sure Bob doesn't care whether i leave the bag open or not. I gave him 2 treats as recommended on the package and you can see how well he's sleeping. This was the first night to see how he would react. Once i saw he had no issues, i felt comfortable trying it again the next night before i left for work (i work nightshift as a nurse). He's had no diarrhea or gas (beyond his normal amount) so that's another plus. They are shaped like little bones and are soft enough to be crumbled over his food, if needed. Anyway, his other calming treats are quite expensive so i will definitely keep and buy a few more of these as a backup. There are about 60 chews in the bag. I say "about" because some are broken or crumbled so probably more like 50-55 whole chews.

Our dog is a female working cocker, 15 years old with the attitude and intelligence of a puppy at best. She isn't a good test for these as she is basically nuts - always has been and no signs of calming down. Of late she has started to bark a lot more at the slightest noise inside or outside of the house, even to the point of going mad when we arrive home even though she knows our voices but still won't calm down until she can actually see us. She could possibly be suffering from hearing issues where she hears the noise but can't make out who/what it is. Who knows.Anyway... tried these as a gentle attmept to calm her down. Has it worked? I don't think so but it might have taken the edge off her. But the dog is a crazy fool and I don't think there is a chance for anything other than medication to calm her new anxiety.

My dog has high anxiety when I leave the house. I have tried different things to help him. These hemp chews are a good option. I give him four, as he is a Great Dane, when I put him in the crate before I leave. He likes the taste, and is excited to get them. He will go right into the crate after eating these treats. He seems to calm a bit before I leave. I am not sure how long he remains calm after I leave, though he starts off rather calm.I think they are a good value, and I recommend these treats for your dog.

My 45lb. rescue dog has severe separation anxiety and is also very easily excited (I am trying my best to socialize her and work with her on this). If I step out to take the trash out she’s running from window to window following me while barking and tearing at my blinds and curtains. You’d think I left her for a month once I come back inside! I’ve had to put privacy tint on my front windows because, she goes crazy when a car, a bike, or basically anything passes by. The vet prescribed her 100mg Trazodone but, giving her just 25mg knocks her out and makes her eyes red and droop which I do not like. I’ve tried several other expensive over the counter calming chews and liquid remedies but, they didn’t phase her. I was honestly doubtful that this one would work but, I figured for the great price that if it did work I could surely afford to keep buying it for my fur baby. Well, I’ve been giving them to her for about a week now and on day one I gave her 2 chews. About 2 hours later while relaxing with her on the couch I noticed and could feel how relaxed she was and not on constant high alert like usual. When my son came home from work she didn’t fly off the couch to attack him with love and I thought that’s weird. I walked her to get my mail and yeah she barked and reacted to another person walking their dog but, she didn’t break my arm off trying to get to them which is huge! Shortly after we headed to bed and she jumped in to cuddle up. I honestly laid there and thought geez what’s wrong with her!? LOL! It did take me a second but, I remembered duhhhhh…. I gave her a Hemp Chew! She was just simply chill, calm and not spazzing out over every noise or headlight that flashed by! It was awesome!! Finally something that works and allows her to function normally. I’m so excited and hope nothing changes about this product! The chews come in a resealable bag and I will caution others the importance of keeping these stored where your pet can’t get to them because, I know my fur baby would consume the entire bag if given the chance! She starts to drool when she sees me take the bag out of the pantry! Praying they’ll continue to help me and my pup get through this stressful phase. Thank You Okkobi for such a great Hemp Calming chew product!

So the whole calming aspect of these... I don't know, they definitely didn't seem to help calm them down before a walk, they didn't seem to do much in calming them if given before "Mum came home from work" and we've not noticed them settle any better of an evening either. But then again beagles are a fairly energetic breed and actually I'm not sure if anything short of a bear tranquiliser would calm our younger beagle so maybe it's just "the nature of beagle is irrepressible".They do however definitely hover these up when offered, and there is nothing bad or concerning with these treats. They've been no messy, or smelly side effects either. We've higher hopes for these on their next long car journey, but we don't have one of those planned for while. However I will pop an update up if there are any significant results.

My youngest dog does not travel well and gets very anxious as soon as we go near the cat 😕 someone suggested hemp oil to settle him after it worked well for their dog but I know he won’t take the oil - was very pleased to be given the opportunity to try these.Plenty in the pack, and he showed interesting as soon as I opened the pack (they smell nice obviously!)I’ve tried one journey and he was ok but still stressed, for the next journey I’m actually going to give them on the lead up to the journey rather than just before.I’m really hopeful these will work long term for him. These ones are chicken flavour but I’ve noted they do come in different flavours so will try them too.So far so good - he eats them without a fuss and that’s half the battle won!!

We have a highly strung rescue who we have found can react well to hemp chews, so I was interested to try these ones which are new to us.They come in a smart reclosable pack of 60 and the ingredients claim to be natural ones. The chews themselves are small, soft and bone-shaped. For my dog's size (25kg)the dosage is 2 chews.I know that it is often difficult to see the effects of natural medicines, but in the past I would say some hemp treats appear to have had a calming effect on our dog. He happily ate these, but I would say that so far I have observed no particular calming effect. Sadly. So at £9.99 (at time of review) for a pack of 60 these are currently looking like rather expensive dog treats.

I have a puppy who is lovely, but is so excitable that at times he can be a difficult, especially for example when we go for walks. I love walking him, but when he dashes about he can be a bit of a handful, not to mention may injure himself as he really gets carried away at times. So I was looking for something that would calm him down, but not do him any harm. I found these chews and based on the description they sounded just like what we needed so I got them and hoped he'd both benefit from them and like them enough to eat them easily.Having had them a few days and following the recommended dosage for his size I am very impressed. Not only does he like to eat these 'treats', sitting nicely to be given them, but after a little while he does indeed calm down. Sure he's still 'bouncy' but he is now more easily handled and is slowly learning to behave more calmly. I know he would likely do so as he gets older anyway, but in the short term this is a good training aid and makes him a lot easier to handle and also helps keep him safe as well.
