made of aluminum and sturdy. I needed one of these for years. Makes I.D of thread types easy.I bought this one because it went down to US 4-40 thread and most others I looked at did not go that small thread size.Some started at US 6-32 instead. Not a huge deal, but an added plus. Worth your time of not fiddling around looking for the correct size.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this thread checker, anodized aluminum mounting plate is substantial with clear size engraving and every bolt is well mounted and accurate. It manages to even look good hanging over the workbench. If you need one you won’t regret this choice.

I was using a plastic JEGS nut and bolt gauge and it was ok. This came today and it is very nice. Exactly what I needed and it’s built with a fine quality aluminum plus anodizing. To me it’s definitely worth the money.

Everything works well!! great construction, nice color... The only issue I have it's that I wish it had a magnetic backing, like on the 4 corners or something. Still I'm a satisfied customer!!

I got a deal on this after seeing a review on the you tube.I love this thing always wanted one of these.I can ID by sight most all the US SAE standard screws but metrics are a pain.This covers most sizes and has already come in handy to sort my metric stash from SAE.I do recommend this product - buy it is you need it.
